Neil DeGrasse Tyson explains how to verify if our soul leaves the body when we die.
He suggests to write something on a piece of paper and suspend it above our body towards the ceiling. Once your soul leaves the body and floats above the paper, then you should be able to read what’s written on that paper and tell it once you come back to life. This would require you to have a piece of paper in every emergency room and every shelf.
