Where we explore the meaning and purpose of Near-Death Experiences in the modern age. We write about the intersection of spirituality, life-after death, comparative religion, philosophy, depth psychology, modern culture, and most of all how we can stay connected to the truth that Life doesn’t end when we die.

  1. I was born and raised Catholic. I taught CCD for 8 years. Finally I left the church and religion altogether. It feels better to live in the truth and understanding that religion has the sole purpose of controlling the masses. I wasn’t really planning that journey, but I do know I am so glad that I did. The truth is beautiful. We are all determined to eventually decay as all carbon based and organic matter does. The brain dies and we are gone. Live a good life, be kind to others, help people when you can. Love those closest to you intensely and appreciate each day. You don’t need a god to be happy and build a beautiful life. Do what makes you happy, but please don’t place religion and its unproven burden on children.

  2. God is everywhere and everything that exists. There are three parts to God. The first is unconditional love. The second is all matter and energy. The third is the Universal Consciousness and intelligence, which we all have a part of in our soul.

  4. The fascinating thing about this is that "the being" did not say a word about religion, but the lady assumes it's a Christian god…. why not just God ? Not Christian, not Jewish, not Muslim… just God…
