  1. I almost drowned to death, at my older cousin's birthday, they had a pool, i was in my floatie, and my floatie lost air, i went and gave it to my father, i tried swimming in the pool, and i accidentally drowned, i put my hand up, and I stopped breathing, my vision blurred, but good my father pulled me out. I almost died, i was a kid when that happened, good i didn't die.

  2. Fun fact. Drowning is the process of experiencing respiratory impairment from submersion in liquid. As the body is deprived of oxygen, breathing stops, leading to hypoxia (oxygen starvation), brain damage, and ultimately cardiac arrest. The physiological process occurs in stages:Struggle and Panic: The victim fights to stay afloat, often frantically gasping for air. Contrary to media portrayals, this is usually a silent and exhausting struggle.Involuntary Breath-Holding: Once submerged, the natural instinct is to hold the breath. This can last up to a minute, resulting in an overwhelming urge to breathe and severe "air hunger".Laryngospasm: As the need for air becomes desperate, a small amount of water may enter the airway. The body reflexively causes a muscle spasm in the throat (laryngospasm) to seal the airway and protect the lungs.Loss of Consciousness: Deprived of oxygen, the brain quickly shuts down, causing the victim to lose consciousness.Water Aspiration: Once unconscious, the airway relaxes. Water rushes into the lungs, preventing oxygen from reaching the blood and vital organs.Cardiac Arrest: Deprived of oxygen, the heart's electrical activity fails, leading to cardiac arrest and permanent brain damage within 4 to 6 minutes.

  3. I very nearly drowned to death, i about 8 or 9 and someone pushed me into the deep end of a pool (i couldn't swim whatsoever and was just there bc a friend wanted me to be) i tried my hardest to get out but couldnt, i ended up sinking to the bottom and it felt like my body was locking up, periodically id gain the ability to move again but it didnt help, thankfully my friend jumped in and saved me because the lifeguard was fuckin useless
