  2. Yeah but I dont care. Selfdestructive as it be I dont want to spend my life in a prision of self control and banality. Better burning in flames of passion than to rot in the comfort of irrelevance.

Also: What is the Option? Going for the women you dont want ? What a shitty Tradoff. If These are the options I rather stay single

  3. Yk I started to do this instinctually and was convinced I was simply suppressing my true feelings but I’m wondering if either A. It’s not true suppression in the “defense mechanism” way. Or B. Suppression isn’t always bad.

  4. I just wish to share another opinion I recently took in that could be true. This was that if you like or want someone that if they become aware of your attraction to them at a point that they have no interest as in that way but now know of this it can influence them to move their feelings slightly towards attraction of their admirer . Your shared understanding contradicts other information I came across I have no proof of credibility of source sorry.. interesting

  5. But you gotta keep in mind that you don’t do this whole “not wanting them” thing just to make them want you, because if you cling on to that hope, you’ll become performative and it’ll ruin your life. The point of not being obsessive about someone or something is to make sure it doesn’t control you, not to achieve it despite “not wanting” it.

  6. Giving that love to someone who truly loves you back is the best thing. Loving God with all your heart and mind is literally the greatest commandment that Jesus tells us to live by. God also provides wisdom, guidance, and discernment; which is important for knowing when someone just doesn’t love you back so that you can move on from them. You also get a satisfaction of knowing that all you need in life is God, which gives you more confidence when moving on from someone. It can still hurt you, but you’ll have reassurance that you’re gonna be okay 👍. This is just one area of your life where following Jesus Christ can help you avoid, or get out of a lot of harmful situations.

God bless you and if you call on Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior; you will be saved. I’m here if anyone wants to talk! 🫶

  7. I think that people sometimes develop an obsession about someone because there are so few people in their life so what I think a person needs to do if they find themselves obsessing over someone who is clearly not interested in them is go out and meet more people. Meet as many new people as you can and I can almost guarantee you you’ll stop obsessing over the one you think is the one or you thought was the one.

It’s like this … let’s say you were on a desert island and for a long time you thought you were there all by yourself but then one day you discover that there is another person on the island and not only is there another person but they’re extremely attractive. In this case, it would be perfectly natural for you to obsess about this other person on the island, but add more people to the island and the obsession is likely to subside a bit so people who are obsessing about a particular individual just need to add more people to their island and they’ll be OK.

Just try it … you never know where it might lead.

  8. man im helplessly obsessing over her…like I could tell it turns her off but I just feel this intense hurt and fear when they pulling back. Its almost like im losing my mind..🤦🤦
