Some Near Death Experiences, known as 'Peak in Darien Experiences', involve encounters with dead people who were still thought to be alive at the time, or were complete strangers to the experiencer. For Example, Cardiologist Pim Van Lommel has shared the case of a patient who, while undergoing cardiac arrest, encountered his dead grandmother and a strange man who looked at him very lovingly, but whom he couldn't recognize. Over a decade later, the patient's mother, who was now on her deathbed, confessed to her son that her husband wasn't his real father, and that he'd actually been conceived from an extramarital affair. His biological father was actually a Jewish man who'd been killed during the German Occupation of the Netherlands in World War 2. She also gave her son a photograph she'd kept of his biological father, and he instantly recognized him as the strange man who'd been looking at him lovingly during his Near Death Experience over a decade ago.
I enjoyed hearing about your experience Courduroy. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Joe I truly enjoy your channel ❤
❤I certainly appreciate you sharing your experience and for sure you will be making a ripple effect of love and caring about people. This is your purpose only you do it so naturally it doesn’t feel like an effort. Your making a difference in this world thank you, whether you realise it or not, others will ❤
As a European I find it incredibly sad that someone would be in the position where they refuse Dr's advice to go to hospital because they were worried about the cost.
If an ER tells you to be hospitalized, do it. They dont need to drum up business. Hospitals are crowded.
My dear young man! I am a 74 yr old woman and let me tell you, listening to your very authentic, animated and thoughtful story has warmed my soul!!!
You are living your purpose! Your music and your delightful personality are bright lights to others. The wisdom I have learned so far in this life is that our purpose is not a thing we have to accomplish but rather, first of all – just living the experience. Second – doing the best we can with what we have to work with and not beating ourselves up for not being perfect. You don't know something till you know it. Earth life is a school for the soul and we are learning deeper lessons than we realize from every minute of our lives. Showing respect, kindness, patience, forgiveness, etc. with ourselves and others, being grateful for life and all its amazing possibilities, living exuberantly and with joy, being curious, asking questions, exploring the talents we have…that is living one's purpose. You are doing great!
And thank you, Joe, for your amazing podcast! So genuine, thoughtful and interesting
❤
