Dad’s Near-Death Experience
Looooove is in the air, Myrtle Beasts! Charles and Link give some sugar to their Valentines. Charles tells Link about (one of his) near-death experiences from back in his day, and gives advice to a listener with a flatulence issue in another edition of “I’ll Help You Get Out of the Woods!” C’mon and have a good time with us! Shoutout to our (almost) sponsor for this episode, Precious Petals.

Welcome to Dispatches From Myrtle Beach! Link Neal and his father Charles Neal are practically identical, except they live thousands of miles apart from each other. Dispatches From Myrtle Beach brings the honest and often hilarious conversations between a tight-knit father and son team, as well as an inside look at the Neal family dynamic. Every Thursday, listeners will get to have the intimate experience of hearing a call between Link and his dad, but it’s not just Myrtle Beach we’ll be hearing about- it’s everything under the (Southern) sun.

3 years agoLink sometimes gets so creepy. How did this podcast become so sexual? Like let’s move away a little bit. I’m no prude but it’s just so tired.

3 years agoI'm really loving this podcast, even more so now we have the videos too! 🥰 Link and Charles are so sweet, my heart swells at the way they speak to one another, there's so much respect and love between them that is lost nowadays! You 2 truly have something special and it's so lovely that you're inviting us to watch and join in too 🥰 I've binged so much of this podcast that my internal monologue has now become Charles' sweet southern drawl! 🤣 Much love to you both and all the crew involved in making this series, I certainly hope it's here to stay! ❤️

3 years agothis is so freakin sweet. ive been watching GMM & More for years now, & finally decided to check Dispatches out; definitely going to be listening from now on. These moments Link gets to spend with his dad are so precious. Glad there are videos now on YouTube- I literally only ever watch/listen to YouTube

3 years agoLink’s southern accent comes screamin’ back when he talks to his Dad. GMM not so much. Love that this is video now too. We can actually see what makes us {{cringe}} at times.

3 years agoThe same can say of Euchre as in Bridge. You rely on a partner in these card games, but you can go "alone" in euchre when you have a good hand of have the highest cards in suit (it's a guaranteed win) 😉

3 years agoI think this is my favorite one so far! It could have been titled Love stinks……sometimes! I love how Charles condemned drinking and driving because you might get in trouble vs. you could kill yourself and/or someone else. 🤣🤣🤣 I think I have a little crush on Charles, but I have too much respect for Nancy to pursue! 😍🤗
