My nde was brief and sudden, but transformative all the same. In August 1972 my Father died in his sleep the night before I returned from a two month stint as an extra ranch hand on a cattle ranch. I grieved deeply. My Dad wanted to be a grandpa so badly, but passed at 61 years old. My Mother sent me to college although my wish was to drop out. I drowned at the university pool and experienced nde. I floated away in darkness, but not a frightening darkness. I enjoyed floating and the great peace and the warmth within my spirit of a luke warm perfection. Floating through this medium I headed to the light on the other side of a shimmering tunnel. There is found a gate at the top of a path. At the gate was my Father appearing as he was in his mid thirties. I knew him from photos. I expressed glee over our surroundings, however very seriously he pointed toward the tunnel telling me I must go back. I said why? I enjoyed this comfortable place of love. He simply said for the children … I protested what children? However psychically he pushed me back through the tunnel and I awoke to the lifeguard performing cpr and reviving me. I went on to marry and have 5 children. My Father was protecting his future grandchildren whom he loved already.
I don't know why Christians continue to seek real proof of life after death. It's written out in red.

So only people that are Christians can go to heaven? What about Jews, Muslims?
Check out the scriptures on death and where we go and what happens. The scripture states the body dies and returned to dust from fence it came. The soul goes back to GOD who gave it to us and we know nothing. We sleep until the resurrection. People do not go to heaven. At the end of this world GOD will renew the earth and the world of people who are Christian and other worthy by GODs opinion resurrected will be renewed with a spirit filled body and will live in the new paradise for eternity, no more sickness, no more death, there we will spend eternity with JESUS as our King! I know the scriptures, but I don't remember them to tell you, but you can even ask Google, there are several scriptures at different places in the Bible that explain exactly what happens after death.
But to keep telling people that we're going to heaven, that's wrong. Only the 144000 that are going to be kings. And priests in heaven are going to be able to direct what happens in the new Paradise. The bible talks about that too. It's impossible for earthly body to gain. Heaven, we can't live and walk and talk and eat and do anything in heaven. In an earthly body, we have to be renewed. We have to be spirit-filled. I've studied the Bible for 60 years. You really have to understand what you're reading. And there's things written in the Bible in the Old Testament that people confuse and mix it up with the New Testament. But if you understand what you're reading, if you're filled with discernment, you will figure it out that Jesus was our forerunner, our blueprint of what we will be like when we're resurrected, and we won't be fleshly earthly people anymore. We will be spirit filled in different. But we will look like ourselves and we will know each other. And we will reunite with family members and friends and loved ones who have passed. Please stop telling people that they're going to. Heaven it's not scriptual.

I had a real bonafide OBE (out of body experience) when I was 7 or 8 years old. Never talked about it much, but it still remains crystal clear in my mind, and I'm now 73. I heard they can happen in times of great stress, and that's what I was in at the time, but I won't get into that. It lasted only 20 or 30 seconds and was an awesome and beautiful experience. It was late at night, and I was sitting on the couch crying. Suddenly I was floating, looking down at myself through the window of the carport. It was a very similar experience to what you all describe except I didn't see Heaven or any people. I didn't feel any of the sadness my body was feeling. Instead, I felt joy, peace, comfort, and security at a level that's hard to describe. Nothing bad was going to happen to me there. Just as quickly as it started, I found myself back in my body again, and the sadness and stress were tempered this time. I've always believed that God allowed that to happen to calm me down, and it did. All through my life I wanted to replicate that experience but never could. Sean, I don't know how I came upon this program but I have been wanting to say something to you. Recently I heard you say you left the Catholic church because of this pope. Frankly I don't think he should be a pope. But, you know that the Catholic church was the first Christian church and the only one for 1500 years. There was no Bible for over 150 years until all the gospels and letters were put together making the Bible. Other Christians don't know this and that is why they only go by the Bible and not all the teachings of Jesus. Who's sins you shall forgive they are forgiven, etc. This is my body, the bread of life, etc. Please don't give up on the Church because of a corrupt pope. There have been many over the years. You did not leave America because of bad, corrupt presidents. You stayed and are fighting against the evil. Corrupt. You should do the same for your holy Catholic church. God bless you.

Colton Burpo lived 90 miles from my hometown of North Platte, Nebraska. He was brought to our hospital where they discovered his appendix had burst. The surgeon who saved his life was also my surgeon and his wife is one of my best friends. I also worked at that hospital. If you watch the movie, I recommend you read the book first. The book gives you more detail. It's worth reading.

I'm a retired nurse. I was working for hospice on call one weekend. I was called to a home where a patient was not doing well. She was screaming out for help. Her family thought she had pain. I think she was seeing a glimpse of hell. And I saw another patient that was close to death. She looked up at the ceiling smiling and said she saw Jesus.
Yup i read 90 mins in heaven and a few others thanks for posting this cause i too have had a couple experiences and when time passes human nature makes u kinda excuse it or say maybe it wasnt real…but i know that i know that i know IT WAS REAL and this helped me put myself back in that pure joy ….peace and love again…i remember not wanting to leave….its unexplainable a feeling like i have NEVER FELT ON EARTH..NO GOOD OR HAPPINESS ON EARTH EVEN COMES CLOSE….i am okay with dying cause what i felt ….i know was more than any human can explain to others who havent experienced it….there is NO WORDS OR FEELINGS THAT COMPARE ..

Enjoyed your podcast. Has everyone there ever read how Peter told everyone to be Baptized in Jesus name , not the titles. Jesus is only name to go down into the water with. He’s the one that died for us . Jesus said he was the beginning and end. God said he was the beginning and end . They are the same one. Read acts 2:38 . I don’t think anyone will be fat in heaven because the bible said flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God. Fat is flesh and fat showed a problem with man . We will be perfect not fat.
