Intensive care Nurse Andrea von Wilmowsky of Pöcking, Germany, has shared the case of a female patient who was admitted to her ward or resuscitation following a heart attack, although she appeared to be clinically dead. Wilmowsky writes, ‘It became the most chaotic resuscitation I’ve ever witnessed. There were too many people, and they kept stepping on each other’s feet and getting in each other’s way. An IV bottle was swept off the table in the middle of this chaos and smashed to pieces’. In the confusion, a hairclip which she had been wearing, crafted by her husband from plywood in the shape of a rose, fell to the floor and was stepped on and broken; she only noticed this when the resuscitation had been successfully completed. Wilmowsky then left for a 3 week vacation. On returning, the patient asked her, ‘What happened to your pretty rose hair clip?’ The patient could not have seen the hair-clip, having been unconscious at the time, but later described having watched the resuscitation from a corner near the ceiling, seeing a male staff member, who she later described, step on the hair clip, also the glass bottle fall on the floor and smash to pieces.

Although the word quantum is somewhat loosely used from time to time in NDE experience descriptions, it comes from the Latin word quantus, meaning “how much”, and in physics it means a discrete packet or smallest possible amount of something.
Before quantum physics, scientists assumed many things in nature changed continuously. For example, you could imagine dimming a light bulb smoothly from bright to dark.
Quantum physics revealed that, at the microscopic level, many physical quantities come in individual chunks rather than varying continuously.
Here are a few examples:
* Light comes in packets called photons. One photon is a quantum of light.
* Atoms cannot have just any energy. Their electrons occupy specific energy levels. When an electron jumps between levels, it absorbs or emits exactly one quantum of energy.
* Vibrations in a crystal occur as particles called phonons—quanta of vibration.
An analogy
Imagine a staircase versus a ramp.
* A ramp represents continuous values—you can stand anywhere.
* A staircase represents quantized values—you can only stand on the steps.
Many properties of microscopic particles behave like the staircase rather than the ramp.
Why is it called quantum physics?
It is called quantum physics because it studies systems in which these discrete “quanta” dominate the behavior. The theory began in 1900 when Max Planck proposed that light is emitted in tiny packets of energy. Later, Albert Einstein, Niels Bohr, Werner Heisenberg, and Erwin Schrödinger developed the theory into what we now call quantum mechanics.
One subtle point
The word quantum does not necessarily mean “tiny.” It means indivisible for a particular quantity.
For example, a single photon can have very little energy (radio waves) or enormous energy (gamma rays). Both are one quantum of light—the size of the quantum depends on the frequency.
So, in the simplest terms:
A quantum is the smallest indivisible packet in which a particular physical quantity can be exchanged.
That simple idea led to one of the most successful—and also one of the strangest—theories in all of science.

the other day my son was sick, he suddenly looked around and said “i want to go home”, and constantly said “get away from me!”. He didn’t seem to see me who stand right in from of him, then he kept saying “i want to go home”.. something telling me to pray and i did, i said “Dear God please intervene and bring my son home! In Jesus name, Amen!”. Suddenly he looked around and say “Mom”, i come to hug him and he cried, he said “Mom, i saw a glimpse of Hell!” he added “i saw the demons there and they mocked me and laughed at me, they even tortured me.. there’s something feels like fire but i can’t really see the fire” then he said “suddenly there’s a white light shining down, and the voice was in there but i can’t remember what God said, then i came back here!” I told him that i prayed for him and that’s when God intervened! Praise God, my son is safe now! But it’s like a warning message to him that he needs to change his life style, or else that’s where he’s going! ..God is real! He wants each of us to repent our sins and come to Him to be forgiven and be born again to be a child of God, live a life that He wants you to live! Repent today and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, He died for you on the cross to pay for your sins, on the third day He rose from the death and live forever ever-since, He ascended to Heaven while living and right now sit at the right hand of the Living God! He has became a perfect sacrificial Lamb of God who takes away the sins of you and me, of everyone’s. Accept Jesus today to have an everlasting life in Heaven! May you be blessed! Amen!
