Is there evidence for reincarnation in the Bible? Does the idea of soul reincarnation have any biblical support? What is reincarnation, and what proof of reincarnation do some use to prove one can be reincarnated? In this video, Pastor Nelson with Bible Munch answers the question, “What does the Bible say about reincarnation?”.

I'm not convinced on reincarnation and am skeptical, but I don't find the arguments in this video to provide clear rejection of all possible forms of reincarnation.
The refute of reincarnation using Luke 23:43, does not rule out the possibility of the soul moving into the spirit realm with god where the soul is judged and eventually reincarnated, or perhaps this particular soul through the act of crusification alongside Jesus, was granted salvation and their soul completed its carnate existence and will now spend the rest of existence in heaven. From my perspective, this version of reincarnation would not be disproved by Luke 23:43.
The scripture says that a man will only live once and then judgment! Period!
You're wrong, we reincarnate according to our karma, all references to reincarnation were removed from the bible hundreds of years ago, as I'm sure you've been told before. I'm not going to try to convince you but you will return after death over and over until you no longer need to. Every religion also agrees and understands this and when the time is right for you to open up your mind and heart…so will you ❤
I don't know if I believe in reincarnation or not there's just tossups but I will say I know in my high school yrs I had a not so close classmate that kinda looked like one of my favorite female musicians but the country phase maybe but oddly both alive not dead. I guess another example would be young sheldon/Ian weirdly/oddly
There are thousands of children who remember so many details of their past lives that they can actually track down the previous person they were in their past life by name.. I would consider that proof.
OK u absolutely right ✅️ about the bible, but only the bible have the correct answers??
It's not real and doesn't mean it limits the power of God. He doesn't give second chances after death. We do good or bad and ask for forgiveness and worship him as we live. God doesn't give second life to be reincarnated to another person's body to worship him again or commit sin again. We live once and our souls either go to heaven or hell. Reincarnation is paganism.
Thank you for your video.

People who believe in reincarnation is closeminded
Cant control people if they believe they will come back. No pie in the sky. Just fearless people living they best life…dangerous to those who want to control and dominate
Wasn't Jesus reborn on Easter?
So Jesus was wrong and John the Baptist was right?
You sure about that? "G-d does all these things twice or three times with a man, to bring back his soul from the pit to…the light of the living" (Job 33:29,30). Christians do not reincarnate because they will be resurrected.
I personally believe in reincanaration, And I have a very weird feeling that I might have lived another life. I am not saying I am reincarinated, just feel like I might. I dont believe in the karma system of hindoiusm (although karma is a thing in another sense for you karens out there😊) but mabye it might be true in another sense, because after all, if you truelly have free will even in the after life, what is you stopping from just walking out of heaven, and into another life.
Life is similar to a boarding school in the sense that you can graduate and be done with school and stay home(heaven)or not pass and have to do it over. Every action and thought is observed. You're supposed to experience certain things, and your reaction is monitored. After our body dies there's a life review. Depending on the "grade" we get, we are presented a selection of lives to choose from that all are appropriate for our next level of growth. We get to experience little glimpses of those different lives and we choose. Once we live out those glimpses, they seem oddly familiar. And that's how de ja vu works. So reincarnation is definitely real and it's how the universe works, not just earth
It doesn't really matter what the Bible says or doesn't say about it…. it is a fact that many people have pre-birth and past life memories of varying degrees. Look up "Reincarnation and the Holocaust" for some interesting stories. But there are many accounts out there of people who have vivid memories of other people that lived and many have verified the details.
Not biblical…..
This is not right, because we are in Hell now, reaping what we sow. And reincarnation is called Gilgul Neshamot in Judaism. Do a search here for Judaism and Reincarnation, it's their basic belief. If we are reborn into the Spiritual Realm we can be delivered from this present evil world, as Paul said.
WHAT IF – Reincarnation references were removed from the Bible because too many were committing suicide and unable to pay tithing.
Ephesians makes it very clear. We are not alive until we're alive in Christ. We're dead in our sins. So lifetime, after lifetime, we're still dead in our sins. All for our learning to get what it takes to embrace Christ.
It's the only life that IS LIFE
it is correct that you only die once that is, your body only dies once it cannot die more then once. if you believe that you are the body, the instrument instead of that which is eternal made in the image of the almighty then of course you will think that once the body dies then you die with it. but that's not the case you are the dweller in the flesh, you are not the flesh. when the flesh perishes you do not perish with it, In fact you have never known death only your body has. reincarnation is the process of you finding another suit to continue unfolding in creation, creating is not something that was done and over with thousands or trillions of years ago, it is still ongoing and you are still part of that unfoldment. it takes a lot of reflection and less book reading to understand this.
but you will not understand the concept of rebirth until you have understood that you are not the body. the body is part of you but that's only fragment of the totally of your being which we call the soul.
How about Jeremiah 1:5?
My Grandfather, Ilmars Started to believe in reincarnation when I was still in High School. But it wasn’t until after he left San Jose that he really tried to get me into it! Prays to Jesus that he failed miserably at that because Jesus knows I’m a bit vulnerable to that kind of spiritual pressure. It’s also 1 of the biggest reasons why I moved away to Milwaukee WI, AKA San Lorenzo Valley 2. Where I can rebuke false Christian teachings without getting in trouble.
eternal life =reincarnatoin paradise=earth
There is no such thing as reincarnation. The bible is very specific about it. When you die you either goes to Abraham's chamber, place for the believers, and of waiting, or you go to place where is hot and dark, and or you will go the place where the angel of disobedience are, where there is no light, and is completely dark, places for murderess, like Hittler, and such. Jesus also said to let the dead worship the dead. The bible also says that when you die, your body becomes food for earth, your spirit goes back to the Father who gave it, and your soul goes to either of the 3 chambers mentioned above, waiting for the judgment day. STOP WITH THE DECEPTION OF REENCARNATION. You only have one chance, that chance is now… while you are here going through this friction with everyone else…do your best.
Reincarnation is a choice, the point is actually to try and cease the cycle of rebirth. I don’t think this convinces me the phenomenon isn’t real. Though it does convince me Jesus does not want it for me, and wants me to join him in Paradise. Praise Yashua of Nazareth 🙌🏼
I reject reincarnation.
Matthew 17:10-13 in a nutshell, Jesus Christ said Elijah is John the Baptist therefore Jesus Christ said Elijah reincarnated as John the Baptist. Cross reference to Matthew 11:1-15 in a nutshell, Jesus Christ said John the Baptist is Elijah therefore Jesus Christ said John the Baptist reincarnation of Elijah.
Directly, nothing. Indirectly, very, very little. You have to read it into the text to find it, like the Trinity and Sunday holiness.
"It is appointed for men ONCE TO DIE, and after this the JUDGEMENT"! The Bible, God's Infallible Word
Eternal punishment and damnation absolutely nothing
ahh poor simple creatures
Im a Christian and can't remember any past life but I can say that I have had a NDA like many people and wold say there goes the one death argument and dont forget Jesus raised the dead himself
There is no reincarnation
This guy was literally speaking to a niche audience I would say 5-10years of age. Let me know when you want to have an adult conversation about reincarnation.😂
there's been plenty of confirmation!
None of those examples effectively refute reincarnation. The criminal on the cross could easily have been with Christ in spirit in paradise that day and reincarnated at a later date. Reincarnation doesn’t mean you go straight from one body to the next body.
Christ died in the flesh once for all so that all will stand and endure the Day of Judgment which will last a Thousand Fiery Years for the Lord and his Body will be like a refiner's fire on that day to purify and refine his people, who will stand and endure it and be saved because God will be very merciful to them, for their names are written in his book of remembrance when they revered his name after he sent to them his messengers.
Hence, I believe that the Bible teaches reincarnation, but not like the reincarnation that pagans believe into.
The Ethiopian Orthodox does not believe nor teach in rebirth. They are one of the oldest biblical canons like Hebrew. The oldest is Codex Sinaiticus a Greek bible and it does not teach reincarnation. Neither does Enoch which was also found along side with the other scrolls. Just because some religious teaching may be older doesn’t mean it is true. I prefer to believe the word Jesus taught.
Supposing reincarnation to be true, what, if anything is learned and passed on from one life to the next if you cannot remember previous incarnations?
