Artist Speaks Publicly About His Near-Death Experience (NDE)

In this episode, Dani Foffa talks to Near- Experiencer Davis Haines. Davis is a professional musician, actor, and teacher performing and working directly with people with developmental disabilities and young children based in Birmingham, Alabama. In 2011, he was run over by a truck. He was given a 1% chance to live after experiencing bone fractures, blood loss, organ failure, and a 1% chance to live. Doctors scrambled against the odds to save his life and transfused him with13 units of blood as his family said goodbye. Davis crossed the veil and what he found wasn’t darkness—it was a homecoming: boundless love, unity, and the deep knowing that “Earth is the dream.” In this intimate interview, the professional musician/teacher shares his accident and a years‑long integration that reshaped everything: art, family, faith, and purpose. When he awoke from a five-day coma, he told his family that an angel — a man named Art — had saved his life.

What is an NDE?

A near- experience (NDE) is typically a profound, life changing, intensely emotional experience that usually occurs during a clinical crisis and has common characteristics and aftereffects. It is not a dream, hallucination, or mental illness (Greyson, 1983). There are no predictive variables to identify who will have an NDE. They happen to people of all ages, religions, socio-economic groups, cultures, educational backgrounds, and belief systems. They occur under a variety of circumstances such as accidents, near-drownings, illnesses, combat, surgical procedures, and childbirth. Following an NDE, experiencers (NDErs) often display some common aftereffects. Research has established a set of common NDE characteristics and long-term aftereffects. Theories used to explain near- experiences in purely physical terms have been proven inadequate by NDE researchers and others.

  1. I have always been a person of logic and reason… and completely lost faith in in any kind of God or afterlife.. until I started watching these NDE’s now I am a believer ✌🏻❤️🙏

  2. If all the suffering of the world once passed is of no importance…what is suffering for. I may be trapped in the physical, but when i think about all the suffering of organic beings to keep this reality going it always strikes me as unnecessarily cruel for it to be for nothing? A poor 16 year old boy that never got a chance to live dying with guts on the outside of his body in a trench in 1915 his last moments of pain and fear….and yet he floats away to timeless bliss and all that is gone….but then why!!!!!!!!

  3. I believe people are still watching so I will still comment. I believe to believe people are in TRUTH people wo are truthful and not trying to make you believe but hoping you will for your pathway to Heaven your real home and of course realizing the higher power. ❤❤❤ Twins are truly amazing even identical triplets. God bless you Sweetheart 🙏

  4. You’ve opened up my heart today, Danny. I sense your love, and it’s beautiful. When I listened to you, I remembered John Denver’s song entitled Rhymes and Reasons. Love is the reason for all things. I know the Great Spirit cherishes you immensely! Thank you so much, Danny. We’ve all been blessed by your words ❤

  5. This is AI. How you know is in the description box press on "more" then go down where it says "How this video was made" if it says automatic dubbing that means it's AI. You can Google it!

  6. Thankyou for sharing your experience. Do you believe it could be only part of an even greater story? I believe the love you experienced from God was made possible through His Son, the Lord Jesus. He is love embodied in sinless form. This gift is from Him, without it, you cannot comprehend love.

  7. thank you both for being beautiful examples of the love within all of us, waiting to be uncovered. I love listening to NDEs, and this is one of the best I've heard; the light you radiate, Davis, is so inspiring. As an identical twin and an artist, too, it hit all the high points, lol. Also inspiring to find the place where you can do the most good. No one in my family, not even my twin, can find a way to accept any of this right now, which makes it hard to share what I know (remember) to be true. I had a big awakening after my brother died, but it didn't impact others in the same way. All I learned from that incredibly difficult experience has blessed my life, and I want to share it, but it takes skill and true dedication to centered alignment to speak of this without upsetting others.

  8. David, thank you so much, I was so fortunate to have found this interview. My father was an identical twin, he passed in May of 2023 after a long term illness. I've since been hoping and praying that he felt this sense of release, love and peace upon his passing as your NDE experience. I worried so much for my Dads identical twin, who kept telling me not to worry that he's taking care of my dad and very soon they'd be together. He said his only peace would be the time he'd be with his twin and 70 days later my Dads twin (no illness or sickness) peacefully feel asleep and didn't wake up. I want to believe that they are together in this loving, carefree utopia of Gods love.

  9. Poor humans, they believe that remaining in the physical body is all important. They have no knowledge nor understanding of the fact that we are spirits temporarily housed in a physical body and that when that body dies, they assume that's the end of life or maybe there's a heaven or hell if they're religious. It's really like them saying, ''stay with us, don't go to your true home in the spirit world where Unconditional Love and Bliss pervade everything and where you're relived of all your suffering.''. And that's how poor in knowledge and understanding most humans are. 🥴😮‍💨 I've studied NDE accounts for 60 years and the understanding I've gained has given me much peace of mind and I do not suffer in the type of ignorance common to the vast majority of my fellow humans…thank God. I was guided in this way. The Light shineth in the darkness but those lost in the darkness, see it not. 😊😇
