The Purpose of Life According to Jesus | Cliffe Knechtle

powerfully addresses the futility of atheism and agnosticism, highlighting the contrast with Jesus Christ’s declaration that life is meaningful and purposeful. Knechtle explains that Christ affirmed life as a gift from God, calling us to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. He challenges listeners to seek their purpose by putting their faith in Christ and asking God how to live for His glory.

Matthew 22:37-39 (KJV): “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV): “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV): “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

  1. Exactly. What do you want me to do?

A dictator who owns my life commands me and tell me everything is going to be okay but everything you love is a sin!
Listen to me! Okay! Where are you? I call out your name and you refuse to listen to me!
Oh, I believe in God. And he's not a very good God to everyone or anyone. He's an intensive God.

  2. How does death make life insignificant??? Complete non sequitur. All finite, limited things are more valuable, not less.

If gold were unlimited in supply, it would have no value. If true love were easily attained and secured, it wouldn't be transcendent. Immortality doesn't enhance the value of life. The fleeting nature of it is the reason it's so treasured.

  3. That speech is heavily laden with assumptions, negative evaluations, and judgements about other people's lives. This man needs to learn respect and boundaries. No wonder Christianity has collapsed among the youth.

  4. IN LORD JESUS CHRIST NAME AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN 🙏 🙌 ❤️ 👏 ✨️ 💖 🙏 🙌 ❤️ 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

  5. That’s honestly how I feel without god.

Becoming aware of just how evil this world truly is and the never ending cycle.

And seeing the devastation. It feels like the evil out weighs the good by a mile. N I genuinely can’t see why we carry on with this life.

    It’s so painful and it’s something I don’t comprehend.

But Gods promise makes a lot of that have sense.

Atheism is a joke. I can’t imagine the emptiness of living doing all of this just to die. Like it was so meaningless all the blood pain and suffering for nothing.

That’s a harsh reality. Especially seeing the unpunished evil.

People r just so blind to it and they truly don’t care. Evil has become the new good. And the same people complain about how evil the world is.

    One big hypocritical circus.

The only thing I truly have n this world is Gods promise. Everthing else is truly meaningless everything.

N that ain’t me looking for sympathy or anything that genuinely how I see it.

I’m sorry I can’t cut my brain off to the evil that goes on here.

  6. Man has always puzzled over his origin. His genesis. Created by God? Or a product of evolution? If we could see yesterday and tomorrow at the same time, the origin and the end, the entire universe in a single moment, we might finally find answers to the biggest questions of all. What is man? Where does he come from? What drives him? What is his purpose?

  7. And what's the answer? I asked him over and over and over again? Still nothing has worked out remotely and I never received any kind of a clear answer. When I sin my life goes nowhere when I don't sin it doesn't go anywhere either. So what's the point?
