Not everyone gets to see this I know a couple of people that almost died and didn’t see anything a friend of mine was gone for an hour and he said he seen absolutely nothing only darkness
when she said that she came back through her belly button and it was like a tunnel, it sounds like the umbilical cord!
I am also have a science background and I don’t believe in god but I do believe in intelligent design.
What you experienced is called “self fulfilling prophecy”. It’s basically human manifesting what happens in your life based upon your thoughts.
Science doesn't necessarily say that "it's not possible" it says that it has not be proven. And just because something cannot be objectively proven does not mean that it does not exist.

Yes ! I've always believed that it's one of the main reasons we are here is to see if we can learn to "treat each other as we would like to be treated" regardless of our differences ❤ I've always strived to life with that commandment. Of course I have fallen short numerous times but I catch myself and try to do better next time.

One thing about nde's i find interesting is the dissociation they feel from their body. Like we spend every second cruising around in this meat sack so you'd think we'd be more attached. But alot of them are like "oh well" Strange to me.

The Dr's comment was completely unacceptable. There is a saying "walk a mile in someone else's shoes". Why these medics cannot understand the links between trauma and addiction is beyond me.

Science doesn't say the supernatural isn't real, it just says there isn't sufficient evidence to confirm this. You are even in that field, so you should know that. Science is all about probabilities and evidence and is not afraid to say "we don't know yet", especially about the bigger questions. Thank you for sharing your story.
