First of all, his belief that what happened to him was so rare, so extraordinary, that it must be a message being delivered to him from the beyond is obviously wrong. 240,000 people are struck by lightning every year. 24,000 of them die. 240,000 every single year! Look it up. He's just one of 240,000. For a scientist to ignore science, which says it was just nature doing its thing, and to blindly conclude it was a message delivered from God is bizarre.
Then, what obviously happened to him is that the lightning strike damaged a part of his brain, or maybe a better word is that it activated a part of his brain, a musical part. Again, not unusual, as many people are born with that and much more fully developed and available than what he got. Furthermore, there are all kinds of real-world examples of people getting hit in the brain by something and new aptitudes developing. Again, that's science. Believing that some God figure zapped down instructions for him to play a song on piano is a really bizarre conclusion for a scientist.
The river of energy taking him to a place of peace and love–very interesting but went nowhere.

Another dreamer – funny how these things always happen in America, the Land of Make-believe.
In my book, I call these bodies, "Earthsuits". Like wearing spacesuits to explore space, Moonsuits to explore the Moon, Marssuits to explore Mars, etc. We wear Earthsuits to explore this material level on a physical plane.
Your story was interesting to listen to – thank you. I lost my mom when I was 8 years old and shortly after her death she came to me in a dream. This set the stage for being highly mindful of dreams. I've even written a book about many dreams that have come true. It's called "Quantum Consciousness, Dreams & God." I wrote it under J Hughes my married name. I played piano for many years when I was a teen into adulthood. I took lessons and got pretty good. Back to the dreams stuff though – I had a dream of playing a piano in a building that ws used for storing furniture. This piano I played was stored there. There a number of instruments stored in that building. The piano I had at home was a small upright. The piano I played in this dreams was a square oblong one It was a piano I'd never seen before but played in the dream. I awoke curious as to how I could play a piano shaped like I'd never seen before. I awoke hearing that I'd been playing this most amazingly beautiful music. Back then, I never thought about trying to recreate it in real like. There had been some time when I could remember it after the dream but over time it faded from my memory. I wish I'd of thought to recreate it. That piano I saw in the dream – I finally saw that shape of piano for the first time at the Stanly Hotel in Colorado. I also learned that at one point they had stored some of these pianos in the building they now use for weddings. The walls back then were unfinished.

Good story but abrupt ending.
The Earth is becoming horrifying now, with live birth abortions and destruction of the child, fresh from the womb. That's one aspect of the horror. The other has to do with Islamic murder, through religious pretext, and all of the insane killings revealed every day on media. Then, the war murders, and plans for more wars, plus the impending nuclear disaster. Added to all of that is the destruction of the atmosphere, and poisonous chemicals in food, water, and air.
However, the greatest threat is of mass insanity, through over consumption of drugs. As usage expands, humans are mutating toward lower or seemingly higher realms wherein they are encouraged to emanate energies which interlock with the accretion of evil. They are manipulating civilizations, as they drive earth into becoming a dangerous place to be re-birthed. This manifests as a huge change in the cosmic paradigm. The process of learning through transmission of near death experience depends on people like Mr. Cicoria, who completed the loop very quickly, and can recount the experience of knowing that we survive by Grace of God.
I always say that God works in mysterious ways—so true!
When my wife gave birth to our first child,I was allowed into the room to see her, I went in and she looked terrible, I summoned the nurse, who quickly keep me out of the room, then after about 10 or 15 minutes ,I was allowed back in, she was alright. Some time later ,she told me about all that happened , the she was above her body watching, first me and then the nurses.The details about me, were correct, about the nurses, that i cannot confirm, but my wife was not one to lie. In the future from that time ,I think I may have raised the question on two occassions, only to be giving a brief reply of no consequence, I knowing my wife ,beleived she was not willing to talk about it out of fear of what I may have thought of her sanity.Just before her death form cancer 46yrs later, she told me, she was not afraid to die. She did not elaborate , but maybe that experience had prepared her?
As a physician, I think you would be taken back, particularly if you traveled by ambulance.

Anyone who experiences the Body as anything but the Highest Heaven has not completely died. They are still on the very low end of the transitioning between states end of the spectrum.
I had an NDE, so I can share what happened in my case.
Yes, there was a tunnel. That surprised me because when I finally gave up trying to breathe, I thought that was the end—but it wasn't.
Yes, there was a loving light at the end of the tunnel, and yes, I was moving toward it incredibly fast. I didn't see any deceased relatives or any human beings. What I did understand instinctively was that once I merged with that light, I would lose my individuality. As I got closer, I hesitated for a moment, but almost immediately I understood that merging and letting go of my separate identity was perfectly okay. In fact, it felt like I was returning to my true home.
Just as I was about to merge with the light, I was told it wasn't my time and that I had to go back. I was very upset about that, but I had no say in the matter.
I felt myself slam back into my body with a tremendous jolt. The moment I was back inside, I took a huge gulp of air and started breathing again.
So, in short, yes, there is a tunnel after you die—or at least there was in my experience. Going through it was an amazing, peaceful, comforting experience, even though it was brief.
My sense was that once you merge, you become indistinguishable from the whole, like a drop of water returning to the ocean. After that brief moment of hesitation, I felt genuinely happy to be done with whatever my mission on Earth had been, if there was one.
At the time, I was happily married, my kids were growing up, and I was doing well financially. Even so, not for a single second did I want to go back into my body.
