Sharon Kumara fell out of a moving bus on a Texas highway and was run over by a trailer tire, launching her into a near- experience that would change everything she believed about life and . She rose out of her body, free of pain and fear, and was met first by her beloved stepfather and then by a figure emerging from a glowing portal in a white robe, with shoulder-length hair, whom she recognized immediately as .

  2. Finally! Someone says, "Jesus chuckled." I ride in silence in my vehicle and pray and chat with Jesus/God. I have so much fun driving my 1995 jeep grand cherokee limited v8 and I always feel like Jesus is in the passenger seat smiling and chuckling at me. It is the most wonderful feeling!   6. Two people can come out of very similar abuse histories

    with opposite attachment strategies

    because attachment is not “the abuse,”

    it is the adaptation that worked best

    in that specific nervous system,

    in that specific family ecology.

    Same battlefield,

    different survival math.

    Attachment style is the nervous system’s best attempt

    to keep connection

    and reduce danger.

    Anxious strategy:

    “If I intensify, stay close, monitor, please, explain, fix,

    I can keep connection

    and reduce abandonment.”

    Avoidant strategy:

    “If I downshift needs, stay self-contained, keep distance,

    I can reduce engulfment, control, shame, and punishment.”

    Both are intelligent.

    Both are protective.

    The child learns

    that showing need

    brings attack, contempt, or humiliation.

    Best strategy becomes:

    “Do not need. Do not ask.”

    If a child had to be “the stable one,”

    vulnerability becomes dangerous.

    Independence becomes identity.

    The child learns connection equals obligation and scrutiny.

    Distance feels like safety.

    Avoidant systems are often shame-based.

    A grandmother can be deeply loving,

    but if she cannot reliably protect

    or provide primary attachment 24/7,

    the child can still learn: “I’m on my own.”

    Inconsistency is rocket fuel for anxious attachment.

    The child learns to scan, chase, and amplify

    to regain contact.

    If your mother was loving but powerless,

    your nervous system learns:

    “Love exists, but it can be taken away by danger.”

    That creates high vigilance and clinging.

    Hyper-attunement becomes survival.

    That often becomes anxious attachment

    in adult intimacy.

    If closeness to the safe parent reduced terror,

    the nervous system encodes closeness as regulation.

    Two homes can both be “abusive,”

    but the attachment shaping variables can be wildly different:

    Which caregiver was frightening vs soothing

    Whether comfort was available after terror

    Whether expressing need increased danger

    Whether the child had to become the adult

    Whether the child had siblings and what role the child held

    Temperament and physiology (baseline sensitivity, arousal set-point, threat detection)

    Random moments of protection or betrayal that become organizing memories

    Need equals pressure, obligation, guilt, shame, entrapment. So he regulates by distancing.

    Your system likely learned:

    Closeness equals safety,

    and distance equals danger.

    So you regulate by pursuing.

    Same trauma theme, different “lever” that reduced danger.

    Anxious attachment is often a protest

    for connection.

    Avoidant attachment is often a protest

    against control

    and shame.

    Both are protests.

    Both are about safety.

  16. These NDE videos help me so much, especially because I gave up on religion decades ago. For me, it isn't just helpful but life-changing to hear from people who weren't religious but learned of spirituality as a result of their NDE. Thank you so much for sharing your story, Sharon.

  20. The issue I have with all of these is that people think they are seeing Jesus, you aren’t. There is NO RELGION on the other side. The NDE is usually customized for the person’s religious preference to make the transition easier. The spirit of the man known as Jesus once on Earth may show himself, but he isn’t the son of God as the bible says IMO. If that’s the case, we are ALL God’s children. I see no reason why God would want any of us to live under the slavery of organized religion and if he did, Atheists wouldn’t end up in the spirit world alongside the devout catholic.

  26. James van prague and john edward were proven frauds. The book to read is the bible. It tells of everlasting life and how to enjoy this one by sharing decency , respect , understanding, and love with our fellow man.

  29. Thank you, I was just asking Jesus today, why can't I feel you ? Do you ignore me ? I asked him to please let me know he is with me and I found this video. You say he is always with us. I hope so. I love Jesus with every fiber in me. I need to feel his peace and love. Thank you again.

  33. In some of the NDE, it's boring to listen to things that distracts us from the the main experience. I wish they would stick to their experience with Jesus neglecting the miscellaneous!

  35. This line of "it's not your time" is repeated and used ad nauseam throughout NDE experiences. It's just not sufficient. Beings that can communicate unlimited amounts of information telepathically on the other side can't think of a new line to say? I'm starting to lean towards the theory about archons and soul trap. And do I need to point out the problems with Jesus having long hair?

  38. You are my favorite nde experiencer that i have heard so far. I can relate fully with everything you experienced, as i have been having experiences on the other side of the veil for 50 years. I just loved your everything you described, especially your experiences with Jesus. It awakened me to the fact that He is always with me, also. I have been aware of special experiences with Him, but now i feel His presence in every experience i have in my memory, as well as in this very moment. Thank you so much for sharing your profound experience.

  39. Oh wow. True, I too have had difficulty really believing I am worthy of the love of Yeshua. And been recently thinking of this. And here at about min 19-20 that’s what she says, that we don’t feel worthy and yet we are❤
