I met God when I was 26, but due to a whole bunch of circumstances in my life, like active addiction, I'm afraid he's still going to send me to Outer Darkness and say that it doesn't matter if I've repented of a lot of different things and that I've changed dramatically, but because I didn't get rid of all of my sins and change 100%, didn't witness to every single person I ever met, didn't go to church every single time the doors were open, and had a hard time picking up the Bible sometimes for a month or two because I was bludgeoned with it my whole life, that none of it matters, that the blood of Jesus can't or won't cover it, that I'm a faithless unbeliever, and that, regardless of if God loves me or not, I'm toast. I've always felt like an outcast my whole life. I've always felt like I'm not loved my whole life. I just don't want to think that I was given up for adoption at 2 days old, put into a family that has repeatedly abused me in the name of God, even going so far as to repeatedly kick me when I'm down, where gifts were transactions and love has always been conditional; That I went down the wrong path in a hurry because the church, aka my family, was pushing me away for not chasing their goalposts and by their words and actions, gave me a horrible image of God….for me to finally meet him at 26 and find the love I've always wanted, just to still have addiction problems, and then prematurely die and be sent to Outer Darkness; the summary of my life having meant nothing from the very beginning; feeling like meeting Jesus at 26 meant absolutely nothing as far as my eternal destiny was concerned, and that I was, after all, having to earn a spot in God's kingdom and as his child by getting rid of all of my sins by myself; finding out that the gospel I've heard in churches about Jesus covering all my sins past, present, future, and forgiving me of them completely meant nothing unless I could 100% get the rest of my sins out of my life.
Of course, I can't get a straight answer to save my life, and whenever I say anything like this on youtube, it usually just attracts wackos, atheists who like to antagonize Christians, or people who give me cheesy idioms and 700,000 Christian emojis
It has been said by an ER doctor that there were way more than 23% who experienced hellish NDEs as witnessed by the hospital ER doctors and nurses. He further stated that by the next morning the patients who had experienced those horrific NDEs seemingly had no memory of them. He also stated that it was felt that either the patients were too embarrassed by that fact, or it was so frightening that their minds somehow compartmentalized the event. Matthew 13-14: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
The continuity between modern near-death experiences and 2,000 years of Catholic mystical tradition: Across many modern near-death experience (NDE) accounts, individuals consistently describe entering a reality filled with overwhelming light, peace, and extraordinary beauty—often expressed in terms of luminous gardens, radiant landscapes, and a sense of life more intense and vivid than anything earthly. These experiences typically include a life review, a profound awareness of moral responsibility, and an encounter with Christ characterized by both justice and overwhelming mercy, leading to healing and transformation.
What is striking is that these elements are not new within Christian history. For nearly 2,000 years, Catholic saints and mystics have described remarkably similar experiences. Figures such as St. John Bosco, in his visions of heaven and the destiny of souls, described radiant realms of beauty and joy beyond any earthly comparison. St. Faustina Kowalska also reported visions of heaven filled with living light, spiritual joy, and creation transfigured in beauty. St. Teresa of Ávila and St. Catherine of Genoa likewise emphasized that the realities of heaven surpass human language but are often perceived through images of overwhelming light, harmony, and beauty.
Even in Marian apparitions such as Lourdes and Fatima, the natural environment is often described as being infused with extraordinary light, peace, and an otherworldly sense of harmony, echoing the same symbolic pattern.
Theologically, this continuity is not accidental. Scripture itself frames both the beginning and the fulfillment of salvation history in terms of a garden—the Garden of Eden and the renewed creation of Revelation, with its river of life and trees bearing eternal fruit. Catholic theology also affirms the resurrection of the body and a “new creation,” meaning that eternal life is not purely abstract or immaterial, but fully real, embodied, and glorified.
From this perspective, both modern NDEs and classical mystical accounts converge on a shared pattern: encounters with divine light, overwhelming peace, moral clarity, reunion with loved ones, and indescribable beauty expressed through imagery of nature transfigured. While the Church distinguishes private experiences from doctrine, the striking parallels suggest a deep continuity in how the human person perceives transcendent realities when drawn into the presence of God.
Another striking point of convergence between modern near-death experiences and Catholic mystical tradition is the consistent description that the reality encountered after death is experienced as more real than earthly life itself. In many near-death experiences, individuals report that the realm they enter is not dreamlike or symbolic, but intensely concrete, vivid, and real—so real that earthly life feels comparatively diminished or less substantial, almost like a shadow in comparison. They often struggle to express this, but repeatedly insist that what they experienced carried a greater sense of reality than ordinary physical existence. A very similar description appears in the testimonies of the seers of Medjugorje. When they report visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, they consistently emphasize that her presence is not imagined or internal, but experienced as fully objective and overwhelmingly real—more real, in fact, than the surrounding physical world.This shared pattern suggests a common phenomenological feature across both modern NDE accounts and longstanding Catholic mystical experiences: the sense that the spiritual dimension is not less real than the physical, but in some cases is perceived as more fully real, more immediate, and more substantial than ordinary sensory reality.Taken together with broader NDE testimonies and Catholic visionary tradition, this reinforces a recurring theme: encounters with the transcendent are not described as abstractions or mental states, but as entry into a level of reality experienced as deeper, clearer, and more definitive than earthly life.
Sounds like literally walking through the valley of the shadow of death
Note that none of these people were pimps, career criminals or murderers. I think GOD gives those people a few chances to repent but GOD, who knows you heart, isn't going to waste time on people that LOVE being unrighteous. Those people don't usually get an NDE, they just get checked out and sent down. JESUS said WIDE is the road that leads to hell and MANY are on that road. The weekend drunk, the casual fornicator, the gossiping/slandering neighbor, the stingy, the greedy, the self loving narcissist, the self centered career climber…GOD has scripture about all of them. Reading the book of Ecclesiastes when you're young would help a LOT of people get a grounded perspective about what to do with their lives.
FATIMA: According to the memoirs of Sister Lúcia dos Santos, the children were shown a vision of hell during the apparitions of Our Lady of Fátima on July 13, 1917. In her Fourth Memoir, Sister Lúcia described it this way: “Our Lady showed us a great sea of fire which seemed to be under the earth. Plunged in this fire were demons and souls in human form, like transparent burning embers, all blackened or burnished bronze, floating about in the conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames that issued from within themselves together with great clouds of smoke, now falling back on every side like sparks in huge fires, without weight or equilibrium, amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fear. The demons could be distinguished by their terrifying and repulsive likeness to frightful and unknown animals, black and transparent like burning coals.”
What is striking is the similarity between many hellish near-death experiences and the vision described by the children of Fátima: fire, darkness, despair, terrifying beings, and above all the profound anguish of separation from God. Whether one approaches it from mystical experience or near-death testimony, the descriptions show remarkable points of convergence. The other two visionaries, Francisco Marto and Jacinta Marto, reportedly became deeply marked by the vision and intensified their prayers and sacrifices afterward.
I've noticed most of the people who've had NDE's that were sent to hell, usually come back with completely transformed lives. Many also start their own ministries and become devout Christians. But the reason I believe they're actually real is because MOST describe calling out to "Jesus and praying" as the way they were rescued from hell. Think about it, if these experiences were simply manifestations of a dying brain like scientists claim, then people should be experiencing "different neurological hallucinations" after death; especially since most of them don't even identify as being Christian.
Most NDES are vacant and could be done by fallen angels to make you think you see what you see you hear what you hear in reality When apostle Paul spoke of heaven he never told anyone exactly what he saw and what he heard he just said either his soul or his body went up and to the 3rd level of the sky where heaven is but he did not say out of humility and it wasn't allowed

MY mom had an overdose she died for 2 mins second time she said life was like a pulling a curtain she went down like a black pit wormhole, so black she fall in this black greysh dark place, her senses where augmented but she felt cold a cold of death, but she was walking throught this darkness she saw a fog a thick fog the color was like green but no any green like the color of the pale horse of the apocalypse,the she saw what many hellish NDE see a medieval broken castle wall, then torture start mentally a intrusive voice giggle, tormented her telling her no more family no more coming back, then she remember all her life all the times my grandma talk to her about jesus and she rejected him or ignore him, she said she couldnt said jesus name it was block she somehow knew the bible back and forth, the devil voice said they coming to take u, she started jumping in terror she said she could jump like ten feet paramedics said she almost broke her arm, they dont understand how a dead person could jump…. but anyway she said fear was like it was alive like it was not fear it was terror itself superhuman nothing compares she call out to jesus and said remember my mom serve you she somehow quoted "Acts 16:31", she said after a while of calling jesus name evrything chill out a bit she saw a little star it became bigger and bigger then she fall down to her face she said her sin was so heavy so dirty but she saw an empty throne chair there where rainbow colors around that portal but the person was infront of her… she said she couldnt see him but knew it was jesus splendor light cover him with such a glory the only thing she said was that fire like force field and this bright light but the most amazing thing of all she said his feet where like polished bronze refined in a furnace.
She came back she had brain damage alot her brain cells die but she is good she stop doing drugs for a while like at least heroin and crack and spike for good she had death withdrawls she felt she was falling throught that dark pit or dying or the cold sometimes but something weird happen and i was with her my dad left for holidays a bad demonic presence felt in the house in his room something did the "psst" which the devil use in hell to tormented her and in other cases demons use this when the soul seperate from the body during sleep paralisis or when you about to see a demonic manifestation they used that sound to just torture u mentally and some how freeze u terrified u taunting us to look into his room but his room was close but after that sound the door was open we couldnt sleep it was tormenting us we had to call a pastor that night since then my mom relationship was never the same but my dad brought that spirit he believes in santeria and brujeria caribean witchcraft he open a door but jesus is with me.

I think that people who have hell NDE are reflecting what's inside them, and they know they needed to change.
The visions come from their own selves and those who come back change for the better. Ever beat yourself up for doing something stupid? It's sort of like that but in a more spiritual sense.

What do you mean, how does a loving God create such a place??? He told us why he created Hell. It was to imprison the angels who turned on him and corrupted mankind.
