I am a gamer since childhood and I agree with most of the things you said. Especially for immature kids. However you showed only one side of the picture.
A good documentary should not be biased on one side. You only mentioned for like 2 seconds that gaming have it's benefits as well. But never mentioned them.
Let me tell you, gaming helped me bear my life difficulties with ease. It is something that held my hand when I was depressed and broken. It helped me move on and get back to life.
Honestly Big reason I got my first job because I wanted to earn money and buy a computer for gaming. Today I am software engineer and alhamdulillah earning good but the I think without gaming enthusiasm I would've never reached here.
Also there are games that teach you, improve your decision making, strategy, planning and overall exposure of the world.
Even in voilent video games the story and ending teaches you why being voilant brings you nothing but sorrow and emptiness. For Example in GTA 5 if you understand the story, Michael was a bank robber, gangster and killer. He had lots of money, Cars, big house, family, kids but still there is no peace and happiness in his life. Reason is his foundation was not right. Honestly this game changed my way of thinking about life. Success is not about making money but actually it is being a Good person no matter you are rich or poor. Peace comes if you do good deeds.

I genuinely enjoyed gaming, and no matter how hard I try, I can't remember the last time I ever tried to hurt anyone outside the gaming world.
I'm a very emotional person, and I genuinely grew attached to certain characters — Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil and Nathan Drake from Uncharted are my all-time favourites. Those games mean a lot to me. I want to be fit like them, fight like them, and carry that same calm, principled reasoning they bring to every situation. They inspire me deeply.
