How African Spirituality Became Tied to Satan

How African Spirituality Became Tied to Satan

This video was inspired by an article by Oriire, read more on the topic here (
The folowing video explores how came to be associated with “Satan” in many narratives today.
Through history, colonization, and shifting belief systems, we unpack how perception was shaped—not always by direct , but by repeated framing over time.
Note: This is not an attack on any religion, but an invitation to question, reflect, and understand the deeper story behind what we’ve been taught.

  1. I'm Kenyan ,and this is all witchcraft. Y'all Americans will worship anything but Jesus Christ the actual KING . This spirituality y'all think makes you cool is all witchcraft and most Africans know to stay tf away from it all . It's only one God that we access thru His Son Jesus' Christ . And when I say this it's from experience not movies which are 70% accurate btw ,it's not all bs

  2. I am African, our ancestors worshipped some gods, did human sacrifices to those gods, that's evil. Human sacrifices where everywhere on the continent before the British arrived yesterday. They had lots of good practices here, taboos etc but the human sacrifice was evil, even if our ancestors didn't think they were serving satan, they were. Human sacrifices and satanic, evil, ridiculous. I guess someone just said if you killed for this idol, this idol must be satan.

  3. The Bible is African history.
Palestine was Annexed and turned into 🇮🇱
It was always stemming from African and Native cultures. If you can’t understand history or spiritual traditions, ask a secularist. Europeans will never admit the African ancestry.

  4. Egypt was literally African originally. They stole a legacy and turned it into greek religion stemming from Roman pantheons and Pagan cults… until Jesus was crucified, of course… and 70 AD happened… just like the dude said it would.

  5. It really is as simple as those who controlled the media told their version of the story. Within the African context, the stories about non Africans will also be from the vision of the African perspective. The main problem is that people do not truly think and analyse for themselves and to be fair, it's difficult when the information is biased or intended to tell the story to make one look good and the other bad.

  6. One thing I like to consider is that Things might 'work' or 'produce results', but that doesn't make them ultimately good.

You could have a spiritual life like someone who has a diet of sugary foods. The sugary diet and spiritual system seem to work – it might even appear to have greater benefits (more energy from sugar/super natural gifts from spiritual systems), however ultimately they're poisoning you. But you would never know until it's too late.

The natural question is, 'so which one is ultimately Good then?' – As I said above, results aren't the key. It's evidence, and then personal experience. I see evidence for the claims of the bible, Jesus conquering death, YHWH sacrificing for us (sacrifice being the ultimate form of love), even looking at who the occult mocks – it's only ever Christianity.

  7. Why not be show the evil ways Africans themselves use their African spirituality? It’s dark and there is no need to imagine a satan figure because he exists .

  8. When i look at our traditions now as a Christian.African traditions are just how ppl worshipped God in the old testament is that they believed to worship God through ppl which is the same structure we use with Christ now.The problem is they tied to satan without even understanding it at first like we never worshipped/prayed to dead ppl ever and human sacrifices has always being considered evil even now.

  9. Don't justify evil just because you were taught these practice's in your household, clearly Africans are in bondage not because of whit people but they are yoked by the demonic practice's of idolatry and worshipping evil spirits. Jesus Christ is real and you need to accept him as your Lord and Saviour. Don't let the spirit of rebellion hold you captive in a lie, Jesus is not Black or White, he is the son of God and we all have a portion of goodness and a full salvation. God bless you all.

  10. You do know the land of judah was called negroland 1747 where black slaves where taken and brought to America. Judah is the ancient name of modern day west Africa.
