You can’t tell me this isn’t an addiction for him. Constantly waiting until the last second, making risky choices (like driving into the path of the tornado last clip) as if you’re somehow invincible. It gives him an adrenaline rush. A high. Almost dying from a tornado because you are mentally fascinated by them, is an addiction to him. Ain’t no doubt about it. It’s especially telling when his friend says, “We need to leave now.” Five seconds ahead of foresight, while he says “No, we’re fine.” But only leaves when he sees it’s finally getting too risky (the same thing his friend had foresight for, but safer). This is clearly an addiction for him. The adrenaline rush, the risk, the near death experience.
