He said if you love me, you'll follow my Fathers commandments. Obedience grows from loving God. He is what changes our hearts. All our righteousness is as rags before God according to the bible. Jesus said I am the way the truth & the life. No one comes to the Father but through me. Our fruit is the result of our transformation that comes from our relationship with Christ. That relationship opportunity is the direct result of what Jesus did for us. We cant buy our way to heaven thru works. Those works are the fruit of our relationship with Him. He also said faith without works is dead.

This is wildly heretical. Guess this guy never read the parable when Jesus was on the cross and told the sinner he will see him in paradise purely from his affirmation of faith. We are saved by grace and grace alone. Loving your neighbor is a bi-product of being one with the Holy Spirit, it is not a pre-requisite for salvation nor does loving your neighbor Trump confessing Jesus is Lord as this suggests
We can’t keep the Commandments we fail over and over again it’s only by the blood of Jesus repenting and turning to him with all of our hearts and trusting in what he did on the cross for us to take our sin away and then only can we truly love our neighbor as ourselves through godly love, agape, love there is no other way, and there is not another gospel. The Bible says if any man comes to teaching another gospel, even if it’s an angel, we are not to believe it, and even if someone comes back from the dead teaching another gospel, we are not to trust that we should only trust God‘s word . God‘s word warns us in the last days there would be many false teachers, and even people performing signs and wonders, but not speaking the truth from God‘s word, but preaching another gospel. Beware of that ,test everything against God‘s word.
Turns out works do matter. Commandments are a thing. Repentance does matter and God does require things of us. Odd its almost like returning to God actually requires some effort on our part. Thats just wild! Some protestants literally believe if you confess Christ once you could sacrafice a million babies to the devil and eat them all and be rewarded with eternal life with God.
Loving your neighbor is supposed to be a byproduct of salvation. It should be a natural fruit of having the Holy Spirit dwell within you. It should be the result of faith, love, righteousness, grace, mercy, etc.
Simply loving your neighbor and loving people is not gunna cut it because works are NOT a ticket to eternal life. If loving your neighbor was enough for salvation, then Jesus did not have to die on the cross.
Jesus is the way, the Truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.
At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
I really need to get busy loving my neighbors to the best of my ability.
Nobody gets to Heaven from doing good works. It is by God's grace, alone, that you can potentially get in. Forgiving other people as you are forgiven is part of the Lord's prayer.

This is false..do not be deceived!! No works can get you into heaven..you only are rewarded in heaven for your good works but the entry into heaven is turning to Jesus from your life of living for sin and believing through faith in his sacraficial death on the cross and his resurrection to new life. Because he took the penalty for your sin and offers grace mercy and forgiveness you can live eternally with him when you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved! John 14:6 states it clearly…only one way into heaven and that is through Jesus! NDE are not biblical and can be manipulated through Satan as he can attack you in your dreams. If NDE were real how come Lazarus who was dead for 3 days did not come back to life saying anything about heaven or anything?? Satan wants people to think that if you love your neighbor as yourself that you are good enough by yourself to enter heaven..The number of man is 666 and we cannot do anything without Jesus!! I agree with Aaron. I don't believe the Bible. Love is what matters. Not if you except him as your lord and savior.
It's a catch 22. Loving thy neighbor is loving God and do fulfilling all the commandments. James calls loving thy neighbors, the "Royal Commandment".
False doctrine of liberal Christianity. You don’t get into heaven by loving your neighbor. You get into heaven by what Jesus did in the cross
