Human Consciousness: Quranic Wisdom vs. Modern Philosophy |

In this snippet from the Surah Al-Qiyamah: A Deeper Look series, Ustadh explores the philosophical and theological roots of human ideals, contrasting the views of thinkers like Freud, Adler and Marx with the Quranic perspective. He highlights that while modern thoughts often tie human consciousness and ideals to purely scientific or material origins, the asserts that true higher ideals stem from a spiritual source beyond the physical realm. This reflection invites us to rethink where our values come from and how they shape our understanding of purpose and meaning in life.

  1. Look at the double slit experiment. Photons will change when there is an observer. Quantum physics is quite amazing and point to Allahโ€™s greatness.

I never ear explanation like this before, it's realy amazing for me. May this ummah always have people like you, Ustadz. which explains the Quran with an approach that relates to the conditions of the ummah.

  4. I do not understand some parts of it. He says atheism denies consciousness because all is physics. I do not think atheism says anything like that. Human mind is a complex phenomenon where neural networks generate thoughts, emotions etc. Yes physics has to play an important role but it doesn't necessarily mean atheism denies consciousness.
