The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church developed its own unique canon, which includes books not found in Western Christian Bibles. These include texts like the Books of Enoch, Jubilees, and additional books of Maccabees, as well as other books within the Apocrypha.
The scholarly opinion on this is simply that the Ethiopians did not practice theological discernment when choosing which books to canonize. Rather, they simply accepted ALL of the manuscripts they received as canon. Many of these manuscripts did not pass the theological discernment of the rest of the church, being found to have theology that contradicted the existing canon of 66 books.

From my personal experience and research, the Ethopians people seem extremely reserved with regards to this important Bible as individuals and as a collective, and sadly this is not beneficial for Africans in general and the rest of the world. From South Africa.
