There is simply no reason to believe anyone who claims to have gone to heaven or Hell and returned. In the says, “No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.” says, “No one has seen God at any time.”

I2 Corinthians 5:8, the apostle Paul writes, “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” (KJV). The expression absent from the body refers to physical death. When this life ends, believers will be immediately ushered into the glorious presence of the Lord. Then we will see Him face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12). And, at that moment, we will be “present with the Lord.”
Ecclesiastes 9:5-6, For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun.
Lazarus and the rich man Luke 16:19-31 Appealing to “Father Abraham” in heaven, the rich man requested that Lazarus be sent to cool his tongue with a drop of water to lessen his “agony in this fire.” The rich man also asked Abraham to send Lazarus back to earth to warn his brothers to repent so that they would never join him in hell. Both requests were denied. Abraham told the rich man that if his brothers did not believe in Scripture, neither would they believe a messenger, even if he came straight from heaven. This story also illustrates that once we cross the eternal horizon, that’s it. There are no more chances. The transition to our eternal state takes place the moment we die (2 Corinthians 5:8; Luke 23:43; Philippians 1:23).
You didn’t meet Jesus. Otherwise every other NDE would have the same story.

We see God as a judge because He is (psalm 7:11 God is a just judge and God is angry with the wicked everyday).
Also it says He will return with His mighty angels in flaming fire taking vengeance on ALL THOSE who do not know God and on those who do not OBEY THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8)
We understand God character thru His Word.
The “God excepts you as you are” nonsense, is destroying ppl. He commands all men everywhere to repent. (Acts 17:30-31) Why? Because He’s going to judge the world in RIGHTEOUSNESS. And if you continue to sin and live contrary to His commandments, you won’t make it to heaven.

Yes, God wants all ppl saved. He has love and compassion on ppl. He draws near the HUMBLE AND BROKEN HEARTED. But He resists the PROUD. James 4:4-10
If we are to know who Jesus is we must read His word and understand His true character.

I personally don't believe God allows anyone to know or see anything about the other side unless he decides it's definitely their time. He is fully aware if a person is gonna completely die or not before it happens.
I think the reason we think God is a cosmic cop is because we misunderstand his motives. We might think he wants to boss us around or make our life miserable but I think we are mistaken. His rules are so we can have a better life. His “rules” are gifts to live by.
I stayed at my gf's house one night. Sometime during the night, I wake up to a floating white blob thing above me. I could not feel fear. It disappeared by the window when I said "Oh my God."

I’m a veteran who had a pretty rough time in service. I didn’t find God until my last year in but it was after an OD attempt. I remember waking up on the floor hours later and I felt someone in the room with me but I was alone. At that moment my heart and soul screamed out and I verbally said “Jesus I accept you in my heart and as my one and only savior” what followed after is hard to explain but I’ve spent much time thinking about a way to describe it. It felt as if my body was covered in smooth silky oil, and I started crying in a way I’ve never cried before, and lost memories started rushing in. Memories of my past when I used to serve the lord as a kid in church, before I stopped believing for some time. Ever since that day i now know that he is real and his return will soon be upon us. How lucky we are to have a God that is so loving and merciful. May God bless you all

As I hit my mid-40s, death was a near constant thought of mine. Jesus knew this. My wife happened to see this episode of the SR Show and bought this book. It was just laying around my house and I decided to read it. It completely changed my life, I haven't thought of death since. He truly knows and loves us and He wanted to put me at ease, which he did. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
I was also an atheist, last night I was in a dark place and prayed to guide me. I’m my sleep I saw Jesus at my childhood church and it was the strangest thing of my life. Just now my girlfriend texted me about how weird her dream was, she said we were in a bus and I ran out into a “strange church” and she said it was the most vidid dream of her life and I agree. I did not tell her about my dream before she texted me. Jesus is real and he is our lord and savior.
I am wretched and am not worthy of the sacrifice of Jesus. Yet he only wants me to ask him into my heart. The crucifixion is not the end it is the beginning of my redemption. He is the only path to God our father.
