A few scriptures come to mind.
He who trusts in his own heart is a fool.
The fool says in his heart, there is no God.
Professing themselves to be wise, they become fools.
Stop following, and listening to fools people, listen to and follow Jesus.

External Truth like the 10 Commandments and God in heaven are old Covenant superceded Truths in the New Testament. Christians should know the greatest Trith of the New Testament "Christ in you the hope of glory" Scripture teaches that in the New Covenant Christ lives within believers. Learn about the Priesthood of Melchizedek which has replaced the old Aaronic Priesthood of external laws and traditions. Our great high priest the very Christ himself dwells in each believer. To teach external truth is just as much error as new age Truth.
If she is preaching to a group of men and women on. Sunday she is out of line. A group of teens, not a problem

The bible is not infallible or inerrant and its not the Word of God…
What you have declared to us is so powerfully true. It even gives us the right vocabulary to share it with young Christians in our churches that will be propelled into life and society without the full knowledge of relativism and false theology. We have to be very smart and cautious not as fools but redeeming the time because the days are evil…. (Ephesians 5: 15-21)

Do not criticise what you are yet to understand! Religiosity depending on written dogma will always attack the spiritually awakened. Two great examples Jesus and St Paul continually persecuted by Phariciasm. Thank God they don't crucify burn at the stake or chop of heads any more.
P.S. Those who identify as being universally Christ centred must not reject their Fundamentalist beginnings, but rejoice in their literalistic interpretations of the Bible. As Jesus there is a time of infancy in the culture one grows up in. But led by the Holy Spirit, Christ in us, many hunger to grow in the knowledge of God in whom we live and have our being. Just maybe Christianity today is growing up from its infancy. Institutionalism dogmas and debating rather than FOLLOWING the WAY that Christ Jesus showed us.
Allisa God's blessings upon you, but as St Paul said of his Jewish brethren "you worship God with zealousness and sincerty but not in TRUTH. Christ in us the LIVING WORD to be seen and experienced with the "eyes of our heart" rather than placing our trust on merely the written word. For those open to Christ''s leading may I suggest Richard Rohr (Franciscan) Bradley Jerzak ( Orthodox) Robin Parry (Anglican) Baxter Kruger (ex Presbyterian) ALL spiritual Christ centred Christians. They who long to grow others rather than attack others who do not see eye to eye with their own theology.

I am a Catholic. The first time I listened to Robert Rohr, I couldn't believe that he was a Catholic Priest. I'm SO GLAD you have taken Rohr on in this presentation. I can't understand how my Catholic church allows him to remain a priest. Perhaps it is because nothing he says makes sense in a world of reality.

Pretty good stuff, but the insulin example is a poor one. The answer is to start ridding yourself of toxic chemicals, and get off of consuming sugar, excercise to lose fat and gain substantial muscle. The AMA wants you to stay sick, and need insulin, which is a bandaid.

The scientific method is remarkably different that the approach of religion. The 'fact' that Insulin is the superior medication is a consensus of medical expertise. Science can and does change its mind when new information comes to light. Overtime new medications are created and new treatments come out. This regularly happens in medicine. There are new options created due to scientific breakthrough. Science has progressed our overall understanding over time. Didn't the Catholic church famously reject the studied conclusion of new astronomy? They claim that anything that is not approved by church authority is heretical. Wanting to cling to church tradition the church fought to hold that the Earth is flat. Perhaps this trend continues to this day.
