Any cosmic perspective that puts people above animals comes from someone who does not understand the ubiquity of God through all levels of consciousness, which is indeed, the foundation for any conversation/theory like this that aims to integrate all religious experiences. Not true. Humans do not share one consciousness. We are individuating conscious beings. There is the One and the Many. The One is individuating as the Many. Conversation With God – Book 1
Life is a creation, not a discovery.
You do not live each day to discover what it holds for you, but to create it. You are creating your reality every minute, probably without knowing it.
Here's why that is so, and how that works.
1. I have created you in the image and likeness of God.
2. God is the creator.
3. You are three beings in one. You can call these three aspects of being anything you want: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; mind, body, and spirit; superconscious, conscious, subconscious.
4. Creation is a process that proceeds from these three parts of your body. Put another way, you create at three levels. The tools of creation are: thought, word, and deed.
5. All creation begins with thought ("Proceeds from the Father") All creation then moves to word ("Ask and you shall receive, speak and it shall be done unto you"). All creation is fulfilled in deed ("And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us").
6. That which you think of, but thereafter never speak of, creates at one level. That which you think of and speak of creates at another level. That which you think, speak, and do becomes made manifest in your reality.
7. To think, speak, and to do something which you do not truly believe is impossible. Therefore, the process of creation must include belief, or knowing. This is absolute faith. This is beyond hoping. This is knowing of a certainty ("By your faith shall ye be healed"). Therefore, the doing part of creation always includes knowing. It is a gut-level clarity, a total certainty, a complete acceptance as reality of something.
8. This place of knowing is a place of intense and incredible gratitude. It is a thankfulness in advance. And that, perhaps, is the biggest key to creation: to be grateful before, and for, the creation. Such taking for granted is not only condoned, but encouraged. It is the sure sign of mastery. All Masters know in advance that the deed has been done.
9. Celebrate and enjoy all that you create, have created. To reject any part of it is to reject a part of yourself. Whatever it is that is now presenting itself as part of your creation, own it, claim it, bless it, be thankful for it. Seek not to condemn it ("God damn it!"), for to condemn it is to condemn yourself.
10. If there is some aspect of creation you find you do not enjoy, bless it and simply change it. Choose again. Call forth a new reality. Think a new thought. Say a new word. Do a new thing. Do this magnificently and the rest of the world will follow you. Ask it to. Call for it to. Say, "I am the Life and the Way, follow me."
This is how to manifest God's will "on Earth as it is in Heaven."
If it is all as simple as that, if these ten steps are all we need, why does it not work that way for more of us?
It does work that way, for all of you. Some of you are using the "system" consciously, with full awareness, and some of you are using it unconsciously, without even knowing what you are doing.
Some of you are walking in wakefulness, and some (most) of you are sleepwalking. Yet all of you are creating your reality – creating, not discovering – using the power I have given you, and the process I've just described.
So, you've asked when will your life "take off," and I've given you the answer.
You get your life to "take off" by first becoming very clear in your thinking about it (Remember: thoughts are creative, your asking, your prayers, your everything, because the Universal Energy can only manifest what your thoughts, words, and deeds received). Think about what you want to be, do, and have. Think about it often until you are very clear about this. Then, when you are very clear, are think about nothing else. Imagine no other possibilities.
Throw all negative thoughts out of your mental constructions. Lose all pessimism. Release all doubts. Reject all fears. Discipline your mind to hold fast to the original creative thought.
When your thoughts are clear and steadfast, begin to speak them as truths. Say them out loud. Use the great command that calls forth creative power: I am. Make I-am statements to others. "I am" is the strongest creative statement in the universe (Before Abrahan was, I am. John 8:58). Whatever you think, whatever you say, after the words "I am" sets into motion those experiences, calls them forth, brings them to you.
There is no other way the universe knows how to work. There is no other route it knows to take. The universe responds to "I am" as would a genie in a bottle (of course you must believe ye are all gods, because you cannot fool the universe with unbelief).

GOD'S PURPOSE FOR ALL LIFE
And that is for you and all that lives to experience fullest glory. Everything else you say, think, or do is attendant to that function. There is nothing else for your soul to do, and nothing else your soul wants to do.
The wonder of this purpose is that it is never-ending. And an ending is a limitation, and God's purpose is without such a boundary. Should there come a moment in which you experience yourself in your fullest glory, you will in that instant imagine an ever greater glory to fulfill.
The more you are, the more you can become, and the more you can become, the more you can yet be.
The deepest secret is that life is not a process of discovery, but a process of creation. You are not discovering yourself, but creating yourself anew. Seek, therefore, not to find out Who You Are, seek to determine Who You Want To Be.
THE ALCHEMY OF THE UNIVERSE;
THE SECRET OF ALL LIFE?
Emotion is energy in motion. When you move energy, you create effect. If you manipulate energy (thought). If you move enough energy, you create matter. matter is energy conglomerated. Moved around. Shoved together. If you manipulate energy long enough in a certain way, you get matter. It is the alchemy of the universe. It is the secret of life.
Thought is pure energy (vibrations of pure energy units). Every thought you have, have ever had, and ever will have is creative.
The energy of your thought never ever dies. Ever. It leaves your being and heads out into the universe, extending forever. A thought is forever.
All thoughts congeal; all thoughts meet other thoughts, criss-crossing in an incredible maze of energy, forming an ever-changing pattern of unspeakable beauty and unbelievable complexity.
Like energy attracts like energy – forming (to use simple words) "clumps" of energy of like kind. When enough similar "clumps" criss-cross each other – run into each other – they "stick to" each other (to use another simple term). It takes an incomprehensibly huge amount of similar energy "sticking together," thusly, to form matter. but matter will form out of pure energy. in fact, that is the only way it can form. Once energy becomes matter, it remains matter for a very long time – unless its construction is disrupted by an opposing, or dissimilar, form of energy. this dissimilar energy, acting upon matter, actually dismembers the matter, releasing the raw energy of which it was composed.
This is, in elementary terms, the theory behind your atomic bomb. Einstein came closer than any other human – before or since – to discovering, explaining, and functionalizing the creative secret of the universe.
You should now better understand how people of like mind can work together to create a favored reality. The phrase "Whenever two or more are gathered in My name" becomes much more meaningful.
Of course, when entire societies think in a certain way, very often astonishing things happen – not all of them necessarily desirable. For instance, a society living in fear, very often – actually, inevitably – produces in form that which it fears most.
Similarly, large communities or congregations often find miracle-producing power in combined thinking (or what some people call common prayer).
And it must be made clear that even individuals – if their thought (prayer, hope, wish, dream, fear) is amazingly strong – can, in and of themselves, produce such results. Jesus did this regularly. He understood how to manipulate energy and matter, how to rearrange it, how to redistribute it, how to utterly control it. But to be able to control it will depend on your faith (your highest thought without doubt)

"Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles;
I will sing hymns to your name."
Again, it says,
"Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people."
And again,
"Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles,
and sing praises to him, all you peoples."
And again, Isaiah says,
"The Root of Jesse will spring up,
one who will arise to rule over the nations;
the Gentiles will hope in him."
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Nikola Tesla studied crystals.
Did you know that a quartz crystal is neither a solid, nor a liquid? It vibrates at 786,000 pulses per millisecond. Its continuum moves faster than light; it's vibration, the axis of the Universe.
Nikola Tesla believed that crystals were living entities and once wrote:
"In a crystal, we have a clear record of the existence of a formative life principle, and although we cannot understand the life of a crystal, it is still a living being."

MIND over MATTER MIND over BRAIN
The first law of thermodynamics "energy can not be destroyed or created, it can be converted only from one form to another, ultimate energy is constant" proved the correctness of the spiritualistic concept of the immateriality of the soul as energy. Actually, everything of the universe is made of light [29], even heart and soul, which would be a new direction towards the modern world to understand the whole universe. …
Which means that everything that exists contains the information of everything else that exists.
The information of the entire universe is contained holographically and energetically in every
single cell.
It’s hard to grasp when we’re sitting in traffic or waiting in the doctor’s office to get a flu shot, but
science is revealing that our world is more of an energetic idea than anything else.
As the famous Austrian theoretical physicist Erwin Schrödinger put it, “What we observe as
material bodies and forces are nothing but shapes and variations in the structure of space.
Particles are just schaumkommen (appearances).” That essentially everything is energy.
I used to lie in bed at night for hours wondering how my hand and my pillow, the parquet tiles on
the floor in my bedroom, and the sultry night air wafting over my body could all be nothing but
intangible, energetic information.
How was it possible? It was crazy! I mean, come on. This stuff is real!
But what is real? How do we define it? As physical beings—oops—as apparentlyphysical beings
of course we would define reality in physical terms. But given the inescapable scientific proof we
have now gathered that everything is energy at the most fundamental levels, it seems this world
(and everybody in it) isn’t physical at all.
Whether we call it the unfolding implicate/explicate order, “irregularities in the fabric of space,”
Planck scale information, or Platonic ideals doesn’t matter. Invisible, intangible and unfathomably
powerful energies lie at the foundation of the universe, interconnecting and interpenetrating all
life—unfolding as life.
And these energies are best understood as information/intelligence/consciousness itself.
As Swami Muktananda puts it, “The Self, Shiva, is supremely pure and independent, and you can
experience it constantly sparkling within your mind. It cannot be perceived by the senses,
because it makes the senses function. It cannot be perceived by the mind, because it makes the
mind think. Still, the Self can be known, and to know it we do not need the help of the mind or the
senses.”
Bottom line, matter and energy, information and consciousness are just different ways of looking
at the same thing. And if we include the experience of mystics who have directly grasped and
taught that everything is energy and about the unified consciousness of creation for millennia, we
can add the word “self” to this interchangeable mix as well.
SELF = Intelligence = Information = Energy = Mass = Life = God = Spirit = Consciousness
It’s all the same thing. It’s all ONE thing. And everything is energy.
This concept of God is not of a separate superior being, existing in some other realm, overlooking human affairs and loving or judging us according to our deeds. God is in each and every one of us, the most intimate and undeniable aspect of ourselves. God is the light of consciousness that shines in every mind.
I Am the Truth
Identifying God with the light of consciousness brings new meaning and significance to many traditional descriptions of God.
Whatever is taking place in my mind, whatever I may be thinking, believing, feeling or sensing, the one thing I cannot doubt is consciousness. Consciousness is my only absolute, unquestionable truth. If the faculty of consciousness is God, then God is the truth.
The same applies to other people. The only thing I do not doubt about you is that you are conscious and have your own interior world of experience. I can doubt your physical form–indeed, modern physics tells me there is nothing really there, no material thing, that is. All that I perceive of you is a projection in my mind. I can doubt what you say. I can doubt your thoughts and feelings. But I do not doubt that "in there" is another conscious being like myself.
Like God, consciousness is omnipresent. Whatever our experience, consciousness is always there. It is eternal, everlasting.
When I say "I am," I do not mean a separate entity with a body as its nucleus. I mean the totality of being, the ocean of consciousness, the entire universe of all that is and knows.

God is omniscient, all-knowing. So too, consciousness is the essence and source of all our knowing. It lies behind all understanding.
God is the creator. Everything in our world, everything we see, hear, taste, smell, and touch; every thought, feeling, fantasy, intimation, hope, and fear; it is all a form that consciousness has taken on. Everything has been created in consciousness from consciousness. I, the light of consciousness, am the creator.
I am the God of my universe. And you are the God of yours.
God is Almighty. What greater power is there than the power of consciousness to appear as the myriad of forms we experience, everything in the world we see, hear, taste. touch and smell.
No, because consciousness is not just something that is created by the human brain, it is the fundamental reality. This philosophy is called monistic idealism, from "monism" (there is one substance) and "idealism" (that substance is mind). Sir James Jeans said, in response to quantum theory, "The Universe is more like a great thought than a great machine."
This philosophy fits well with theism, the belief in a divine Creator, but there are atheists as well who adhere to it. It fits well with all manner of things that there is evidence for but that materialistic science cannot comprehend: telepathy, psychokinesis, remote viewing, and many other "psychic" or "paranormal" phenomena that real people do in fact experience and that have been demonstrated over and over again in good experiments.
Quantum theory fits very well with monistic idealism, especially the earlier formulations that consider the conscious observer as the entire reason there is a breakdown of quantum superpositions. Later work obscures this by considering the interactions with the environment as breaking down the wave function in a process called decoherence, but this doesn't explain away the issue of the observer. The scientists who created the concepts of decoherence considered the many worlds viewpoint to be most likely valid, and sought to explain how the one universe we seem to experience gets separated from all those others. The conscious observers still play a determining role in experiencing only one of the many branches that decohere from each other.
Critics will moan and say "does the moon exist when you're not looking at it?" and yes, it does exist when we're not looking at it. First, there is more consciousness going on in the universe than we are aware of. As mystics have been saying since time immemorial, consciousness permeates the universe. This would be true from the very beginning. Also, the creations of consciousness, once materialized, obey the laws of physics which consciousness agreed to, so physical reality does still behave as if it is entirely real. As Einstein is often (mis)quoted, "Reality is an illusion, albeit a very persistent one."
Philosophers such as Kant, Frege, and Russell have pointed out that the term 'exist' is not a property of things but of concepts. To say 'this is a teapot that exists' has no more information than the phrase 'this is a teapot'. In Kant's language, 'existence' is not a real predicate, in the sense that a predicate is a part of speech which adds information about its subject. Instead, 'exists' adds no information about the subject, it only qualifies our consideration of any given thing as a subject. We might say 'I dreamed of a green teapot, and when I woke up, I realized that the teapot didn't exist.
One Infinite Space – One Energy Source – One Mind Created All Mind
This whole explanation rolled out when I asked a single question: "How come "time' exists when we're in the body, but not when the soul is released?" And what You seem to be saying is that "time" is really Perspective; that it neither "exists" nor "ceases to exist," but that as the soul alters its perspective, we experience ultimate reality in different ways.
That's exactly what I'm saying! You've got it!
And You were making the larger point that in the macro-cosm the soul is Aware of the direct relationship between Thought and Creation; between one's ideas and one's experience.
Yes – at the macro level, it's like seeing the rock and seeing the movement within the rock. There is no "time" between the movement of the atoms and the appearance of the rock it creates. The rock "is," even as the movements occur. Indeed, because the movements occur. This cause and effect is. The movement is occurring and the rock is "being," all at the "same time."
This is what the soul realizes at the moment of what you call "death." It is simply a change in perspective. You see more, so you understand more.
After death, you are no longer limited in your understanding. You see the rock, and you see into the rock. You will look at what now seem to be the most complex aspects of life and say, "Of course." It will all be very clear to you.
Then there will be new mysteries for you to ponder. As you move around the Cosmic Wheel, there will be larger and larger realities – bigger and bigger truths.
Yet if you can remember this truth – the perspective creates your thoughts, and your thoughts create everything – and if you can remember it before you leave the body, not after, your whole life will change.
And the way to control your thoughts is to change your perspective.
Precisely. Assume a different perspective and you will have a different thought about everything. In this way you will have learned to control your thought, and, in the creation of your experience, controlled thought is everything.
Some people call this constant prayer.
You've said this before, but I don't think I've ever thought of prayer in this way.
Why not see what happens if you do so? If you imagined that the controlling and directing of your thoughts is the highest form of prayer, you would think only on good things, and righteous. You would dwell not in negativity and darkness, though you may be immersed in it. And in moments when things look bleak – perhaps especially in those moments – you would see only perfection.
You have come back to that, over and over again.
I am giving you tools. With these tools you can change your life. I am repeating the most important of them. Over and over again I am repeating them, for repetition will produce re-cognition–"Knowing again"–when you need it most.
Everything that occurs – everything that has occured, is occuring, and ever will occur – is the outward physical manifestation of your innermost thoughts, choices, ideas, and determinations regarding Who You Are and Who You Choose to Be. Condemn not, therefore, those aspects of life with which you disagree. Seek instead to change them, and the conditions that made them possible.
Behold the darkness, yet curse it not. Rather, be a light unto the darkness, and so transform it. Let your light shine before men, that those who stand in the darkness will be illuminated by the light of your being, and all of you will see, at last, Who You Really Are.
Be a Bringer of the Light. For your light can do more than illuminate your own path. Your light can be the light which truly lights the world.
Shine on, then, O Illuminati! Shine On! That the moment of your greatest darkness may yet become your grandest gift. And even as you are gifted, so, too, will you gift others, giving them the unspeakable treasure: Themselves.
Let this be your task, let this be your grandest joy: to give people back to themselves. Even in their darkest hour. Especially in that hour.
The world waits for you. Heal it. Now. In the place where you are. There is much you can do.

Fascinating stuff. I remember reading de Chardin many years ago and even then realizing he was on to something.
6:21. To me the answer here is simple, and Jeffrey agrees: Religion, in any traditional/mainstream conception, is intrinsically divisive. That's why, at the end of the day, it causes more metaphysical problems than it solves.

While "All is One" sounds peaceful in a yoga studio, when applied to child abuse, it becomes a tool of extreme psychological dissociation.

Teaching a survivor that they "wrote the script" for their own abuse—often framed as a "soul contract" to learn a lesson—is perhaps the most sophisticated form of victim-blaming.
The Harm: It removes the perpetrator’s agency and moral responsibility. If the victim "scripted" it, then the abuser was merely a "prop" or an "actor" fulfilling the victim's request.

2. The Dissolution of Boundaries

The Harm: For a child, boundaries are the foundation of safety. Telling a child (or a survivor) that there is "no me and no you" effectively tells them they have no right to a "No."
The Result: It justifies the violation of the body because, in this view, the body is just an "illusion" or part of the same "One." This is a perfect environment for predators, as it eliminates the concept of a "violation."
How this Justifies Arousal Non-Concordance
This is where the biological and the theological collide in a particularly toxic way:
Reflex as "Soul Purpose": If a child has a physical response (arousal) during abuse, a "Oneness" teacher might say, "See? Your Higher Self was experiencing the ecstasy of the One, even if your ego was scared."
