I had a similar situation as far as being given the paralysis medicine before a procedure. I didn't die however I was able to hear,see and feel everything. I knew the conversations the doctor and nurses were having and felt that surgery. Almost like a horror movie. These demons are everywhere.
Allah is the One who takes away the souls when their term ends.
He also takes the souls whose term has not ended when they sleep. He then withholds those for whom He has decreed death and releases those for whom He has not decreed death until a time fixed in His knowledge (may He be Exalted). In this taking away, release, and giving of death and life, there are signs for people who reflect that the One who does this can resurrect people after they die for reckoning and recompense.
