I have similar experience. The Holy Spirit led me to pray and commit my family to the Lord and gave me Revelation 12:11 as his words… Few weeks afterward, I had my ancestors in Spirit in my room at night, in out of body experience. And the Spirit of f the Lord was hovering over me; I heard the Lord saying : “She belongs to me”. I turn and repeat the word of the Lord to them “I belong to Jesus” and they disappeared and my spirit returns to my body. Isaiah 43:1 came to spirit and I meditate on it day and night to glorify the lord for what he has done
Salvation belongs to the Lord who sit on the throne and to the Lamb: Revelation 7:10

This is so revelatory! Yes as an African American I can relate to everything she’s saying.
I hope that African people globally return to their natural connection and understanding of God before we were introduced to religions and colonial indoctrination. I hope that we return to the understanding that God is inside of us and stop abandoning ourselves and aiding in the harm of everything anti-African and human. This is where you will find your freedom and enlightenment.

We all have different customs and believe.
Actually my ancestors believee they come direct from heaven!
And God is one..and is around us all over.. th world!
And I remember ,,any time there was a long drought ..or disease,
The senior citizen s..would go in the bushes , climb mountains and pray ..and had to stay there untill it rained!
And sometimes it took long but,,For the miracle ,, and sometimes only one day..
They were so strong .
They would pray forgiveness..
And Yes christianity was corrupted..
Thou christianity was in Africa..long long ago.

African spirituality is far from what you’ve considered as the truth.
People who’ve converted to African spirituality did so not because it was used as a strategy to enslave Africans, slave trade has been happening before then.
African spirituality connects you to God and our spiritual forces are sent by God to protect us here on earth
They help us become the highest version of ourselves….im not going to say much more but try do more findings about it, it’s a combination of physics, alchemy, biology and so many science. African spirituality is peaceful and we really don’t like to attach our story to slave trade
