Bliss! In this video I explore head coverings like turbans, tams, hijabs, head wraps like gele worn by women of different cultures and spiritual beliefs including western women, Muslim women, Rastafari women, Christian women and African women. I explain why I chose to cover my locs as a spiritual woman and as a part of my sacred self care as I wear head wraps everyday even though I am not religious

How to Protect Your Edges While Wearing Head Covering – https://youtu.be/dLALTiQDOXw
Wow I am the 112th commentor! Well, as a Sanatan Dharmi (Hindu) I FELT IT when you said 'That's not Christ like' cuz I love Jesus! He was a Yogi, a Rishi, a Paramhans! He witnessed and MERGED with the Divine, yet he knew about it from the very beginning that he would merge. Some people are too BLOCKED to have an open conversation with. Yes, u can disagree. Yes, you can voice out your opinion. But this can be done while maintaining sanctity. Great to see your video!
As an Israelite woman, I wear a head wrap as a sign of my spiritual covering. There are times I give my hair a break and wear it down BUT, I was thinking of getting back to wearing them all the time again (at least in public). Other Israelite women do it as a sign of modesty.
I'll be honest with you, wearing my headwrap does make me feel more like a lady and not the harlot I used to be. And no, I'm not saying wearing your hair out makes you a harlot. I'm speaking solely for me. Also, I have locs as well. Shalum 🤗
You look so pretty with your head wraps 😍
Absolutely very interesting throughout respectively
Thank you for sharing your video with us i have really enjoyed your video and found it very helpful useful and very meaningful
i got more respect for African women cover than Islamic force covering and got no freedom to expose their hair that needs breathing
Yes protection from men to prevent unwanted attention. I find men respect me more. More door opening, more excuse me Ms. etc etc

How can I phrase this to HR? bc My job just tried to tell me I couldn’t cover my hair bc it isn’t “professional” unless it for religious beliefs or ethnicity. I am not religious but I do cover it up sometimes bc of comfortability, energy, & shoot sometimes bc my hair isn’t done. I recently just wore Some 2 days in a row bc of the moon & Ik there was possibly a lot of energy being put out & they took a picture of me from the cameras & said I needed to speak to HR if I had any religious beliefs. But I’m blk I should be able to cover my hair if I feel I need to!
I’m not sure what YouTube videos you are watching but as a Muslim woman we DONT wear hijab for men it’s for Allah
While my knowledge of Islam is very limited. I think the reason for Muslim women wearing their head coverings & face coverings has more to do with keeping of very strict traditional guidelines where it is believed that the woman’s body is very sacred and must be entirely covered when in public. Doing otherwise would be completely against the “traditional Norm” and would open the door for scrutiny, criticisms, and even punishment if the woman in question was married, because she could be seen as a harlot. Yes in places where certain Muslim groups have always inhabited, still exist these rules. Here in the west they are referred to as extreme and the enforcers as extremists. This is probably the “fear” that these women speak of. It’s probably not being rapped or sexually assaulted, but being whipped in public for violating what in their consciousness are some of the most fundamental, subtle, and silent laws that exist in their tradition
Head coverings make me feel like I am being comforted and protected, especially when I also cover my ears. I wonder if other people also feel this way, … and about the ears. This is how I FEEL. My researching this is because I could not understand or articulate this feeling of need to cover my head (and ears). I would love for someone to explain the idea of fabric actually having a spiritually protective effect. It does not seem to make logical sense but I know I feel the need for the covering. Happy for thoughts on the matter.
Can someone please explain how they manage head wrapping and banks? Where I live, you are not allowed to have coverings. I hate this because I am ALWAYS covered and must remember the days I will go to the bank to not cover my head or to only cover around the rim (which they accept). … PLEASE tell me about how people (Muslim, etc) deal with this issue. (airports, etc)
Love the sharing Empress Peace and Love. Over thirty years I have done head coverings and at some times I had my hair out when I had Locs . As my hair gotten thin I wear it when my inner spirit tells me. Now have bald spots due to Thyroid issues my hair is close to my scalp but I love seeing us wearing head coverings/ wraps. So I wear head wraps most of the time. Rock them styles of Headwraps 👑🎯❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥
"There is only a small amount of men who would rape you" say that to the little boys & girls, women and other men who have been raped. Never doscredit anyone's experience, fear or nightmare sis. In the world of mentally ill egotistical wicked mysogonistic cobtrolling males you never know what you may get, even men in jail have experienced 1st hand rape, gang rapes and more.
Yesterday I broke down and prayed to spirit. I’m not religious. I am spiritual but life threw me off. I just found out I’m pregnant and I just got this urge to cover my head and grow my hair out. I need to meditate and tap back into myself. I randomly searched this up n found you. I feel like I’m going getting on the path spirit wants me too.
Anyone notice how Jamaican and Irish accents sound so similar? Or, at least I think she's Jamaican. Sounds like it.
Peace and happiness 💛
Although im not Muslim I do overstand the hijab as I've had friends who are Muslim.
I must say there isn't a small number of men who will r@pe. R@pe cames in more than one form from forcible, drugged, adults having sex with minor (there is no such thing as a child consenting to adult), being tricked such as going with someone just to spend time together and he/she puts certain music or different scents which can alter your inital reason for being there, and lastly being talked in to it in fear of being physically harmed or abandoned in the middle of no where. The late great Dr. Afrika speaks on this and there are women who are survivors that speak on their experiences.
I love wrapping my hair i stop showing my losc at wrk to toxic environment
Thank you 🙏🏼

ACTUALLY BROTHER JENNINGS IS CORRECT. THE BIBLE TEACHES US THESE TRUTH'S. 👍🏾
So ironic is talk about covering herself and she not wearing a bra 😂 and now she don’t wear it
You get the attention, from the right men who understand true beauty
Perhaps covering one's head addresses multiple reasons: protection, connection, and stability. Our energy is spirit and we are given free will to decide how our spirit is shared amongst humanity. Should we choose to cover our head for any reason, it is because we chose to, and we don't need to explain why. As an individual who is spiritual and struggles with anxiety, covering my head in my opinion, brings all of my engery into alignment, divine and personal, without needless interface.

Hello I started wearing my head covering. On my Spiritual Journey and rituals naturally come to me in a spiritual form of way. I came upon this video curious after noticing the difference, wearing it for a while and missing a day of not wearing it with my hair out. I rather wear it. Thank you for your video.
I was baptised last year, in March at the first church of our lord Jesus Christ Apostle Gino Jennings. It is a very strict religion and very extreme like this lady said. I have to kepp my head wrap all the time can't wear jewellery are make up can no longer dye my hair. Can no longer wear trousers has to be long skirts are dresses. It's been very hard changing my whole life but i am trying. Thanks for your video queen. Peace be with you 🙏🏾❤️
