"Ms. Pfeife, at the age of twenty-six, you had a near death experience… " "Near Death Experience", he says. In 1975 I was 22 years old with my life ahead of me. I was in my favorite bookstore browsing around in the "New Arrivals" section. I saw a book by an unknown author, Raymond Moody. It was titled, "Life After Life". I was made curious by its title and picked it up. I am now 72 with my life behind me. My goodness, how the world has changed. How I have changed!
My wife of fifty-two years often remarks, "Our generation has seen more change than most any other!!" I think she's right. I remember when our family got our first telephone installed. We were on a party line. Now I hold in my hand a small, portable phone that can reach to the far corners of the world in an instant and that also contains a computer! I do wonder, what changes will the next 70 years bring?!
