When I look at these nine songs together, I realize how often they return to the same questions that have stayed with me for many years.
Who are we beneath everything temporary?
What is freedom inside love?
What happens to love when we let someone fly?
What is time?
What remains when a moment, a relationship, or even a lifetime has passed?
The songs move through love, consciousness, identity, freedom, the soul, memory, and eternity.
They are different stories, but underneath them I feel the same thread.
Something I carried back with me from my near-death experience in 2012:
We are connected more deeply than we know.
And underneath everything,
love remains.
