The issue of free will bothers me ( please note I am a believer) My father was an abusive alcholoic alot of my issues are that my childhood made me into a certain way, Had I grown up in a loving family would I have all these issues? Or the woman who killed herself becuase she was gangraped. You free will can be compromised to make you behave in negative ways

What the interviewee said about other religions being deceptions is true. I spent much of life searching in all those wrong places. At 61, Jesus literally touched my heart and I instantly knew He is the only way. That single moment in my life transformed and changed me in ways I could never have imagined, and I am eternally grateful.
The Bible says God searches every heart and mind but the truth of this existence is that Jesus Christ is THE way, THE life and THE truth.

I can read about different decisions Abraham Lincoln made. Does my knowledge of his choices deny him free will? Of course not. So why would an omniscient God's (fore)knowledge of our decisions rob us of our free will?
Now, from a scientific perspective, I see no materialist explanation for how free will could possibly exist, but that's a different question entirely… and no, the indeterminacy inherent in quantum mechanics doesn't save free will, unless you think flipping a coin to decide what to do is free will. Free will wasn't even something that the early Christians wrote about until St. Augustine, who came up with it to excuse the whole garden of Eden philosophical can of worms.

John, me and my old friends have long debated about and discussed this free will vs. destiny thing back when we were still much younger. And we had this debates over bottles of beer. Lol. We all eventually ended up agreeing that God knows what will happen to us throughout our lives from the time we were born. Of course he does, he's an all-knowing God. But he also gave us free will. We still choose what we want in life and make our own decisions. God doesn't intervene – he just watches and he knows if a person will choose to be a criminal instead of becoming a truck driver or whatever. God knows the ending and everything in between. He might intervene from time to time if a person prays and has deep faith in him. So if that person who chose to be a criminal prayed to God to deliver him from his criminal life, God would help him and yet God would still know if that person would accept God's help or not. Bottom line, God simply knows the future but he has no role in what decisions we make in life because of our free will. If God sometimes or always answers our prayers it's still because of our personal decisions in life that make it possible. In other words, God knows that when you are 42 years old you will experience a misfortune in life and you will pray fot help and He will help you. God knows what God (himself) will do in the future. If that makes sense.
only gods specific biblical events are. when we use tech to try to predict a future event it changes once we are aware of it and it changes again

John, I recommend you check out Molinism, and the few debates between William Lane Craig and reformed theologians.
Molinism, in my opinion, perfectly bridges the gap between free will and predestination! Essentially, God chooses the ending point (the "world") while we make real decisions along the way. God had an array of choices (worlds) and some choices were eliminated out of respect for our free will because we would not have chosen path X or Y, but we would have chosen path W or Z

DECEPTION OF SATAN: People who claimed that they died and went to Hell and came out from Hell and got up to Heaven is false. This is not a Island hopping. The truth is if you are lost person automatically will drop down to Hell when you died, and if you are saved person you automatically goes up to Heaven when you died. Let say, how can if a saved person(Which is sealed with the Holy Spirit) goes to Hell?, and also how can a lost person(Without the Holy Spirit) goes up to heaven after death?, this does not jive with the Holy Scriptures.
SAVED PERSON CANNOT OR IMPOSSIBLE TO GO DOWN IN HELL AFTER DEATH, BECAUSE IF IT IS POSSIBLE THEN THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT ARE SEALED WITH HIM GOES WITH HIM ALSO IN HELL. THE SCRIPTURES PROVES THAT THIS "NDE" ARE FALSE DOCTRINE OF SALVATION.

I'm always a little frustrated when I listen to these very interesting accounts. Mr. Burke likes to insert his ego into every little bit of info given by the guests. It would be so much more interesting to just listen to the heavenly account without the many, many interruptions. It sounds like I'm being hurtful but I would like this criticism to be helpful. I don’t understand. Why don’t we have a description of heaven angels god why didn’t he tell you how to be healthy. Your obviously not not trying to be mean It seems like so many of these nde are people pushing what they already believe. No ndes match in essential details. I’m not saying there isn’t any reality to these events. But maybe not what they are thought to be
I've come to believe the only free will we have to to choose GOD or NOT.
Sure some get to choose what to eat while others don't get any choice much less food.
This did reach me and will help me pray for healing of my wounds from past hurts in my life. In giving God my burdens each night I am sleeping better. That is my new person coming out. Praise God.
