Jeffrey Long, M.D., is a radiation oncology physician living in Georgetown, Kentucky. Over 25 years ago, he founded the Near-Death Experience Research Foundation. Ironically, as long as one is attempting to analyze these experiences, one will not achieve the spiritual realizations bc you cant be in your mind and be there too… they dont mix. Quiet your mind, tune your frequency and become conscious.

I'm a believer, but to play devil's advocate here, regarding the Dickens thing, is it possible that these after death ideas were already in our collective subconscious and influence these experiences( wether you're aware you've learned and retained them or not), Dickens is not the only time in culture of the world that these ideas have been put out there, wether they were spoken about in traditional religious settings or not. Our deep held human shared beliefs have been around since the beginning. That is also saying that maybe we have always had this understanding about the truth of reality since the beginning
