4 months agoIf you go to Templeton California I grew up there from kindergarten up to I think 3rd grade and there was a spot just down by our house where the train tracks came through and they cut out the walls and stuff but you can go down to the walls there and we found thousands upon thousands of shark's teeth we had so many jars of them it must have been at least 400 lb of shark's teeth that we found just in the side of the wall where they cut it out for the train tracks to run through and again that is in Templeton California please check it out I have heard they have maybe section that off to where people can't look for them anymore but I'm not sure I haven't looked for them and been there for a long long time.

4 months agoI did something similar to this but, in the ocean with sargasso. The multitude of creatures in a boogie board size of grass is amazing.

4 months agoWhat part of the state are you at in the peace river. They say they have a big section of the river somewhere in the state that is closed to fossil hunting.

4 months agoWe bought a '22 Ram 2500 and 29' camper a couple of years ago to follow my grandson around at rodeos. Typically there are 3-7 vehicles in the group. We have a lot of fun and usually eat GOOD at least one evening of the weekend. Fuel does get pretty expensive towing a camper. I made a comment to my daughter on a return trip that we were getting 11.9 miles per gallon of diesel. She said they don't even talk about what there F450 gets pulling a 42' horse trailer with living quarters.

4 months agoHello from Martin County. OMG what a crab. Thought it was a softshell turtle until you caught it. You are braver than I am. Stone crab pinch years ago was enough to keep me away from crabs. Enjoy your trip w Dad, about my age.

4 months ago@IslandKey Kelly, do you know how to treat your fresh water holding tank to avoid Alge? Once you have a stanky water system, you WILL learn! The hard way. Do it every spring! Then maybe in your Florida heat you might have to do it again during the season.

4 months agoI w๐คnder if a "Sand Flea Scooper/Catcher",
would be useful for this kind of fossil hunting, or if the holes in the sand grate sifter would be too big, & risk losing good finds that would slip down the hole grates?
Thank you Kelly, for sharing another amazing video.๐ฏ
I'm was born & raised in Dunedin Florida, however, I'm now 40 yrs old, & have lived in Ohio rhe last 22 years ๐ณ๐๐
I miss home, & your videos always help me fill that void, so Thank You!
I wanna try doing this up in the river thats less that a 1/4 of a mile from my backyard.
It's named the Olentangy River.
Its know to be part of the land of Native ( I don't recall the name of the Tribe at the moment, sorry)
For years, people hunt the river looking for authentic Arrowheads, with cool findings along the way๐ฅฐ
I've wanted to wade it for the last 22 years, since the day we moved up here, and still haven't.
Your amazing video, with quality time you are sharing with your Father, reminds me how important it is, to take a moment and ENJOY a moment.
You've inspired me to do that, so Thank You again Ms.Kelly.
Much love to you, Fin, & the Famโคโคโคโค
