I remember at the beginning of this awakening I stared drinking like I was crazy, to the point of blacking out and I'm not a person who likes alcohol until my mother one day said I traumatized her like my late grandmother when I got back home and that resonated so much that I just needed to get into my feelings and understand them instead of running to alcohol, I feel like that was a lesson she wanted to teach me. I don't even see the reason why I should drink now it's literally futile to me now.
