Well that was misleading. I clicked on the video thinking that this person had a genuine near death experience. Instead, I see a whiny, privileged brat complaining about having an opportunity that many people would be happy to get.

He needs to stop interrupting this creative genius.

    Deliberately misleading title. Apologize

Adore her. The OA is a unique piece of cinematic and narrative art, fearless and incredibly imaginative. It has lots of Lynchean elements but also trailblazes. Brit, I want to see lots more of your work 💖

Stupid clickbait video title… But still love to listen to Brit Marling 🙂

This resonates with me so much

Her failure to make it in investment banking isn't a rare thing, she just didn't have the passion needed to do the work at that demanding level. Most of the kids they recruit for I-Banks have no business education at all, lots of them never saw an economics course in their lives. They recruit them for the academic level of achievement…not for what they know how to do. The typical liberal arts major will fail at a high rate in an I-Bank. They just have no interest in business, and it's hard to learn a business curriculum (and math) in an on the job training program.

You can see in the way she tells stories the profound wisdom she picks up on her everyday experiences. That distant look in her eyes. It's like she's still there in the moment. She's really alive in that moment. Past and present seem like they're happening at once.

I’m so disappointed (again) Netflix stopped the OA.

  11. #11

This is weird but I like her two point teeth. They're really cute.

  12. #12

Gave me goosebumps just because it resonated so much with my life and the fact I'm in Brit's before stage with no way out

  13. #13

    Misleading title

  14. #14

Wish she would make Another Earth 2. Loved Another Earth.

  15. #15

"A heart that's full up like a landfill
A job that slowly kills you
    Bruises that won't heal
    You look so tired, unhappy"

Learning his background makes me appreciate her work even more. Such a shame Netflix cancelled the show. They need to stop axing the good ones to keep those hyped by teens shipping and memes…

    Incredibly misleading title.

Brit Marling is Stunning on all levels.

This story is pretty familiar. I pray all demonic entities there in are cast out now in Jesus Name. I pray the story writer who imagined this story has salvation in Jesus Name. I pray the Holy Spirit outpouring into the cast. In Jesus Name. Amen.

I'm so mad that OA part 3 isn't coming out

  24. #24

When do kids lose their imagiation? When parents think you are old enough they'll convince you.

  25. #25

everything that comes out of her is just magic.

  26. #26

Ну почему Прериа русская, ну сделала бы ее итальянкой или француженкой.
Ну блин, а то опять русские бандиты убили папу. Ну что жа нафиг😀

  27. #27

Нам теперь пиздец. Чисто по русски тебе говорю

Great interview. Horrible camera/filter work. It's nearly a crime against humanity to take away color from a beautiful, blossoming Brit Marling, you absolute fools.

  34. #34

    She is amazing.

  35. #35

I am so fcking sad they canceled this show😭

    👑

shame. there’s no nde, just a lie!

  39. #39

3:25 perfectly describing HOW SICK (work) life has become and HOW "normal" it became to push away reasonable symptoms with pharma shit!

  40. #40

I loved the OA …it sucked that Netflix does there 2 season shows that go without a true conclusion to projects they start. Too many irons in the fire in my opinion.

  41. #41

I'm so glad that rich people can find a way to achieve their goals. It gives hope to all people with heaps and piles of money.

  42. #42

OA 재밌게 봤습니다. 시간 되시면 차 한잔 같이 하고 싶네요. 재밌는 분이신 것 같아요~

  43. #43

I’ve been in a job that broke me, I can’t seem to find a job that I would love to do or enjoy. I feel like i am trapped and stuck in this rat race and don’t know how to get out of it

  44. #44

Mate she's like a real life mermaid

  45. #45

Please bring the OA back we need season/part 3
Does anyone else want to contact Brit and bag her to fight for the rest of this story to be told??

  46. #46

I want to see this movie! Fast track investment banker, fresh college grad at Goldman Sachs, turns to The creator of a hit scify Netflix creator/ movie star, screenwriter and female producer in Hollywood. This time period of her life could be a wonderful self-realization, and discovery/Eat Pray Love type movie. This would have to of course be written by Brit and her friends, while casting her as the lead! I would 💯 watch that movie! This idea is all for you Brit!

  47. #47

It still hurts my heart that The OA got cancelled. I've never connected to a story so much in all my life! I hope one day Netflix allows it to get finished….. I know that probably won't happen but im holding on to hope anyway. Just like Hannibal season 4 lol one day…..

  48. #48

It's rejuvenating to watch an original story. Not the generic script repeated. Thank you for the story of The OA.

  49. #49

You are so right. I am happy you found the path for your happiness.

Hi there! I really enjoyed this and am very keen to watch the entire episode. Unfortunately, your website is a bit of a nightmare to interact with, about 7 seconds into seeing the options for the episodes a pop up asks for you to subscribe and takes you off where you were viewing the episodes. It then doesn't allow a sign up to stop this process from happening? This happened so many times in a row that I gave up trying to find the video
