NDE REALITIES – (Los Angeles Times excerpts)………………….
Researchers estimate that around 17 percent of people have an NDE. That means about 80% don't.

Scratch beneath those alleged flat EKG lines, and the stories are a veritable twilight zone of inconsistencies. Some near-death voyagers claim to have met God – BUT A FEW SAW ELVIS PRESLEY OR GROUCHO MARX, researchers say. Others get to heaven not through the famous “tunnel”, but ABOARD GHOSTLY TAXICABS, FERRIES THAT CROSS THE RIVER STYX, OR SPANGLED COWS.

Even children – often touted as the best source of unbiased information – sometimes return from “death” claiming they were GREETED IN THE OTHER WORLD BY STILL LIVING TEACHERS, AND NINTENDO CHARACTERS, instead of deceased relatives.

HINDUS WHO BELIEVE IN YAMRAJ, the Hindu god of the dead, EXPERIENCED MEETING HIM. A Hindu girl "died" and WENT TO HEAVEN ON A COW. Would that mean people will be riding cows to heaven? Jews who don’t believe in Jesus or "hell", experienced God as described in the Old Testament; while Messianic Jews experienced God as Jesus.

Dr. Richard Eby had an NDE and allegedly Jesus told him he had to go back, and that he (Jesus) would return (2nd coming) before Richard Eby died permanently. But, Dr. Richard Eby has now died, and Jesus has not returned.

A few hospitals have placed signs in their cardiac units – with nonsensical messages visible only from above – but so far NOBODY HAS RETURNED FROM DEATH CLAIMING TO HAVE FLOATED UP AND SEEN ONE.

You would expect, that if any particular religious account of the afterlife were true, NDEs would be pretty much the same. BUT THESE ACCOUNTS ARE SO VARIED AND ARE ALL BASED ON CULTURAL EXPOSURE. IN INDIA PEOPLE SEE HINDU GODS, IN SAUDI ARABIA IT'S MOHAMMED, ALLAH, AND A BUNCH OF VIRGINS. The kid from the book/movie Heaven Is For Real saw a Jesus with sea green-blue eyes on A RAINBOW COLORED HORSE, God with BLUE EYES, YELLOW HAIR AND HUGE WINGS, and ONE LITTLE GIRL WENT TO HEAVEN AND WAS GREETED BY A PORTLY MAN WITH A WHITE BEARD AND A RED CAP A.K.A. SANTA CLAUSE.

The Mapuche people of South America and residents of Hawaii are more likely to SEE LANDSCAPES AND VOLCANOES, whereas NDEs in Thailand and India rarely involve landmarks, tunnels or light; for Tibetans, light features more heavily, as do illusions of reincarnation. Europeans and North Americans often visualize beautiful gardens; intriguingly, the Kalai of Melanesia are more inclined to SEE AN INDUSTRIALIZED WORLD OF FACTORIES. An NDEr’s subjective experiences can be attributed to many factors: THE NDEr's PSYCHOLOGY, PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND, ETC. — NOT JUST CULTURE.

The terrain of heaven also varies wildly – from gardens, forests, or CATTLE FILLED PASTURES in some accounts, to clouds, COMPUTER ROOMS, or castles in others. A TEXAN SAW BARBED WIRE FENCES IN THE AFTERLIFE; Micronesians describe large, noisy CITIES WITH CARS AND SKYSCRAPERS.

This is a wonder. Is the hereafter actually mining, and refining in factories, the materials needed to build castles, cars, barbed wire fences, computers, and skyscrapers, as well as developing the tools and machinery needed to manufacture? Not to mention the raw materials and tools needed to construct those cubes and cages in hell that some claim. And, exactly which of the variety of hells do you actually go to? The Christian one? Hindu? Buddhist? Spiritualist? Muslim? The answer seems to be whichever one the experiencer has been exposed to, as Thai voyagers regularly claim to encounter lord Yama and Yamatoots, and being sentenced for butchering and eating chickens. And what fuel do those spiritual cars run on? Wouldn't the hereafter then require waste disposal and a sewage system as well?

Even in her rather homogenous western European clientele, Kübler-Ross could see the effects of early enculturation: “I never encountered a Protestant child who saw the Virgin Mary in his last minutes, yet she was perceived by many Catholic children.”

Yet the evidence for near-death paranormal powers remains shaky at best. TWO STUDIES HAVE FOUND THAT PATIENTS’ “OUT OF BODY” ACCOUNTS OF WHAT HAPPENED IN THE OPERATING ROOM WERE WRONG.

Michael Sabom, however, offers a compromise stance: He rejects the idea that they provide glimpses of a heaven or hell. "I’m not saying these people didn’t experience something odd. But I am saying that we should take it with a grain of salt, because IF ANECDOTES MEET YOUR STANDARD FOR WHAT QUALIFIES AS EVIDENCE, then you should probably start buying tin foil and food buckets, because THERE ARE JUST AS MANY PEOPLE WHO REPORT SEEING REPTILIANS AND WHO HAVE BEEN ABDUCTED BY ALIENS."

Sixty years ago, Dr. Wilder Penfield, a neurosurgeon, poked around the right temporal lobe of some epileptic patients and discovered that they would hear heavenly music, relive their pasts in 3D, and have out-of-body visions. Similar experiments continue.

There’s growing evidence that the temporal lobe plays a huge role in creating NDEs. When patients had their brains scanned after an NDE, it was discovered that they had increased levels of temporal lobe activity compared with those in a control group. That could help explain why only a small percentage of people who flat line have NDEs. When Dr. Olaf Blanke implanted electrodes into the brains of patients, HE WAS ABLE TO TRIGGER SUPERNATURAL AND OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCES BY STIMULATING THE TEMPORAL PARIETAL JUNCTION.

Folks have had NDE’s from all over the world. Different religions, languages, cultures. The accounts are almost always the same. Religion is mankind’s way of explaining something bigger than words can illustrate.

Religious or not. My dad, who was NOT religious in any way. At all. But he was a guy who was a decent guy. Died, (close to it), before he did. He saw a beautiful garden. I was there. He was talking about it while it happened. He saw a beautiful garden, children playing, and such peace. He said, (and once again, I was there), but it’s not my time yet, a couple more days. And he died two days later. I can’t just ignore that. And a friend of mine, she knew a guy who went to hell. He described it, and it was pretty bad. When she told me, she didn’t think I would believe her. But I did, based on my dad. And once again, we were absolutely not a religious family. Especially my dad.

On what he said about interperting I have something intresting to add.
My grandma grew up christian her whole life and saw nothing but paintings of white Jesus.

    Blond hair
    blue eyes,
    white skin

Never beleived in a brown skinned Jesus.
She fell into a coma due to a disease and all she could remember was seeing A man in white robes standing on light/cloud, next to a small boy (my uncle who died as a baby)

The man waved and she woke up and she kept saying I saw Jesus over and over again.
She described him as brown skinned not white, no blue eyes. And she still says to people that Jesus isnt white lmao after so many years beleiving and being told about a white Jesus.

I went to sleep and woke up in heaven. I definitely didn’t die. Jesus was definitely there, I saw people who were murdered by cops, they were intensely happy and dancing/ Praising God. I also saw my dad, he was actually at the door when I came into heaven. Heaven is a place of unspoken peace and beauty not describe in words. You just have to experience it. On other occasions, I woke up in my lazy boy, sat there for a minute and the moment I closed my eyes I opened them again and I was in a white room, my mother came forward calling my name. She moved aside and Jesus walked up telling me how amazing I was. At that time I was in a depressed period in my life. I’ll call that a vision.

According to the Bible, who alone may enter the kingdom of God, and see Him face to face?

    A. 1) Hebrews 12:14,29; Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which, no man shall see the Lord. For our God is a consuming fire.
    2) Matthew 7:21, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

    Q. What is the will of the Father, which is the condition of entering the kingdom of heaven?

    A. Psalms 40:8; I delight to do thy will, O my God, yea, thy law is within my heart.

    Q. What other Bible text, that complements the text above, which mentioned the law, as God’s will?

    A. Matthew 19:16,17; And behold, one came and said unto him. Good master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God, but if thou will enter into life, keep the commandments. (Note: If you continue on reading the succeeding texts, the commandments referred to in the text are the Ten Commandments.)

    Q. What does the Bible say to them that do the will of the Father which is His law or Ten Commandments, according to the text above?

    A. Revelation 22:14; Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. KJV

    Q. What does the Bible say to them that do not the will of God?

    A. 1) Matthew 7:22,23; Many will say to me in that day. Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, and in your name cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them. I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
    2) 1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know Him, and keep not His commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in him.
    3) Proverbs 28:9; He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is abomination.

    Q. According to 1 John 2:4, which say, that he that keep not the commandments of God is a liar and the truth is not in him. Why is this so?

    A. 1) Psalms 119:142; Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
    2) Psalms 119:152; Thou art near, O Lord, and all thy commandments are truth.

Note: Both the texts above teach that the law is truth, and all the commandments are truth. It follows that if one claim to know God but keepeth not His law or commandments is a liar and though one claim to have the truth, the Bible is the final authority of all truths.

    Q. Still, most believers claim and profess that they love Jesus. To be sure that we do not deceive our own selves, let us ask the Lord whom He acknowledges as the one who truly love Him?

    A. John 14:21; He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me, and he that loveth me, shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Note: Here is the final test to every believer, that keeping the commandments of God is the sign of true love to God. Beside this, will be pure presumption. (Proverbs 14:12)

    Hell

The subject of Hell is known to almost all people worldwide even to the non-Christians. Also there are different belief and teachings in regards to this subject. But the main purpose of this sharing is: What does the Bible says in regards to this subject of hell? Although all Christians hold the Bible as their sole teacher of truth, yet most believers have different understanding and belief as to what the Bible teaches. Most people believed that there is now existing burning fire in the middle of the earth where sinners are being tortured and burned forever.
So the simple question to ask is:

    Q. 1) Does the Bible support the belief that there is now an existing burning eternal fire called hell?

    A. Genesis 1:31.; And God saw every thing that He made, and behold, it was very good.

Note: As Christians we all knew and believed that God alone is the creator of all that is in heaven and earth. And the text said that every thing that God created was very good. In order to find out what are included in that every thing was very good. (Pls read Genesis 1: 3-26) For sure you won’t read the word hell in that every thing was good. So, the belief that there is now an existing burning eternal fire is contrary to the very good creation of God.

Another text that contradict this belief is found in Ezekiel 33:11, which read: Say unto them (referring to prophet Ezekiel), As I live, saith the Lord God, I HAVE NO PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF THE WICKED; but that the wicked turn from his ways and live. This text is clear, plain, and simple to understand that if God had no pleasure in the death of a sinner, how much more to an endless torture of burning.

    Q. 2) But for the sake of finding the truth, let us presume that there is now an existing burning eternal fire called hell. The only one simple question to ask is: WHO CREATED IT AND WHEN?

    A. Of course no one could find an answer from the Bible, because we already read, that God alone is the creator, and every thing that He made was very good. (Genesis 1:31) quoted.

Note: This belief of an existing eternal burning fire is truly an unfortunate one, because there is no fairness and equality to individuals who are bound to hell. Everybody’s fate is the same, which is endless burning. It is really unthinkable. It contradict what the Bible says in Galatians 6:7; Be not deceived; God is not mock: FOR WHATSOEVER THAT A MAN SOWETH, THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP. What kind of sin does a man do, in order to deserve such endless punishment??????????? This belief is common even to most faithful Christians and one thing more they believed that Satan is in charge, while in fact the eternal fire is prepared for Him and his angels as we find out now.

The danger on this belief is that, people will follow Jesus out of fear, and not out of love, which will lead to willing obedience to God’s divine will.

    Q. 3) So, if there is no existing hell yet, will there be future eternal fire called hell, and to whom is it prepared for?

    A. 1. Matthew 25:41; Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand. Depart from me ye cursed, unto everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
    2. 2 Peter 2:4; For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.

Note: It is clear in the two texts above, that the everlasting fire is still future and is prepared for the devil and his angels including the cursed or unsaved of course.

    Q. 4) According to the Bible, when and where will this eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels takes place?

    A. Revelation 20:7-10; And when the thousand years are expired, Satan will be loosed out of his prison. And shall go out to deceived the nations, which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city, and fire came down fromGod out of heaven and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Note: The above texts are clear, that after the thousand years are expired, (Satan which was cast out to this earth, out of heaven together with his angels according to Revelation 12:7-9) is on this earth since that time, and will be here on earth until the thousand years are expired. And it is here on this earth, while deceiving the whole world when fire will come down from God out of heaven and devoured them. And this fire is described as “lake of fire and brimstone. In other words this whole earth will become the hell of the Bible. 2 Peter 3:7, and Revelation 20:7-10.

    Q. 5) According to the Bible, who will be included to suffer in the lake of fire aside from the devil, the beast, and the false prophets?

    A. Revelation 20:13,-15; ; And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. AND WHOSOEVER WAS NOT FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE WAS CAST INTO YHE LAKE OF FIRE.

Note: The above texts clearly spell out the final end of every man that ever lived whose name is not written in the book of life. They (the texts) also exposed the erroneous belief and teaching that when a person dies, he or she will receive his reward in heaven, or punishment in hell, as the case maybe.

    Q. 6) What other name does the Bible call the lake of fire?

    A. 1) Revelation 20:14; This is the SECOND DEATH.

    2) Revelation 21:8; But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable,, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the SECOND DEATH.

Note: The above two texts imply that the result of the lake of fire is DEATH. Again, they (the texts) exposed the erroneous belief and teaching that when a sinner dies, he will suffer eternally, which means that he did not really die. there is a first death, for there would be no second without the first.

    Q. 5)After this earth is cleansed by the lake of fire and brimstone, with Satan and his angels in it, together with all wicked, (Malachi 4:1,3), what event will take place?

    A. 1) 2 Peter 3:13; Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.
    2) Revelation 21:1; And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the.first earth are passed away, and there was no more sea.
    3) Isaiah 66:22; For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Note: Thank you Precious Lord for your precious truths, how clear and simple to understand. It give relief and comfort to our hungering and thirsting soul for the spiritual bread and water, which is your word, thy word is truth. Amen.

Q.what per centage of (former) humans are dispatched to be lake of fire? Any thoughts ? Oh "Easter" is Ishtar

  13. #13

Wow, 1 in 25 have had a NDE. I had no idea.

  14. #14

How can 1 in 25 people have had NDEs? Surely not that many people have died and come back to life?

  15. #15

Even if I am willing and ready to watch 3 millon NDE:s I will not give a single one of them more importance than Scriptures. This is my rock to stand upon. If I would not have this rock to stand upon I would not even want to watch the NDEs as they could possibly blur my mind.
It is not my wish to be disrespectful, but nowadays I am more interested in the word of God than in the word of man.

    RELIGION AND DEATH…

Psychologists who reviewed a range of Phenomena such as Out-of-Body Experiences, Visions of Tunnels of Light or Encounters with Dead Relatives, say they are Tricks of the Mind rather than a Glimpse of the Afterlife.

Researchers at the Universities of Edinburgh and Cambridge say that Most of the Experiences can be Explained by a Reaction in the Brain Prompted by a Traumatic and sometimes Harmless Event.

The Researchers say that many common Near-Death Experiences are the brain’s Attempt to make Sense of Unusual Sensations and Perceptions Occurring During a Traumatic Event.

Out-of-Body Experiences, for example, Happen when there is a Breakdown in the Brain’s Multi-Sensory Processes, and Visions of Tunnels and Bright Lights stem from a Breakdown in the Brain’s Visual System caused by Oxygen Deprivation.

The new study also points to the Effects of Noradrenaline, a Hormone released by the Mid-Brain which, when Triggered, may Evoke Positive Emotions, Hallucinations and other Features of the Near-Death Experience.

The Scientific Evidence suggests that all Aspects of the Near-Death Experience have a “Biological Basis”.

Science has proven Religion and its Teachings to be Wrong and Out Dated. From the Earth being the center of the universe, Earth being flat, Exorcisms, Salem Witches, and the list go's on and on. As time moves forward Science continues to prove that ancient teachings are misinterpreted, and Not True.

  17. #17

Near-death experiences (NDEs) are profound psychic experiences commonly occurring in life-threatening conditions. They include feeling a sense of peace, of seeing a bright light, encountering deceased relatives or religious figures, and of transcending space and time.

  18. #18

This was a waste of time. Referencing most famous NDEs from professionals. Sure professional scientists is what people want to see. These are 2 people that are no different than wanting to be famous. Psychics of the stars poop.

  19. #19

There is no life after death. Near death and out of body experiences is just the brain going haywire and hallucinating when it is nearly dead as there is NOT enough oxygen getting to the brain when it is shutting down. If they are NOT revived their brain, consciousness and soul will no longer function. Sorry, it's lights out and game over. If the concept of an eternally inflating multiverse is correct then sooner or later an exact remake of your brain, consciousness and soul will be created in another bubble universe with it's own separate big bang somewhere else in the eternally inflating multiverse. The eternally inflating multiverse is based on cosmic inflation. Inflation is where our universe expanded so rapidly for a very brief moment of time at the big bang. Inflation only ended in our part of space (our bubble universe) while other regions of space are still inflating. Once inflation starts, it never fully ends producing an infinite number of bubble universes and each bubble universe would have it's own separate big bang event. There are big bangs happening all of the time at an ever increasing rate with new big bangs occurring forever. There are only a finite number of ways matter can be arranged, there are only a finite number of ways matter can be distributed and there are only a finite number of ways the laws of physics can be different and with an infinite number of big bangs repetitions of everything are inevitable. Your exact life you have lived so far and every other possible variation of your life is already being lived right now by other exact copies of you living on other exact copies of the Earth in other exact copies of our universe elsewhere in the multiverse. An exact copy of you has an exact copy of your brain, consciousness and soul but does NOT have your brain consciousness and soul. This is your only life so make the most of it. Life after death is just wishful thinking.

Near-Death Experiences—What Do They Not Mean?

    The Bible’s answer

Many people who have come close to dying say that they recall being separated from their body or seeing a bright light or a place of great beauty. ‘Some consider the experience to be a privileged glimpse of another realm of existence,’ states the book Recollections of Death. Although the Bible doesn’t mention such near-death experiences, it does contain a fundamental truth that shows that they are not visions of the next life.

     The dead are unconscious.

The Bible says that the dead “are conscious of nothing at all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5) At death we pass, not into another plane of existence or thinking, but into nonexistence. The teaching that we have an immortal soul that survives after our body dies does not come from the Bible. (Ezekiel 18:4) Thus, any memories from a near-death experience cannot be glimpses of heaven, hell, or the afterlife.

What did Lazarus say about an afterlife?

The Bible’s account of Lazarus describes an actual death experience: He was resurrected by Jesus after being dead for four days. (John 11:38-44) If Lazarus had been enjoying some form of afterlife, it would have been cruel of Jesus to bring him back to life on earth. However, the Bible records no comments from Lazarus about the afterlife. Surely Lazarus would have spoken about his afterlife experience if he had had one. Significantly, Jesus described Lazarus’ death as being like sleep, indicating that while Lazarus was dead, he was conscious of nothing at all.—John 11:11-14.

  23. #23

I am going to make comments about this whole near death experience phenomenon and pose certain questions relating to it but first I want to address a more important and preliminary issue…which is to evaluate the LOGICAL arguments for the existence of a CREATOR GOD.

Speaking as a trial lawyer of thirty years and accustomed to relying only on EVIDENCE, I do start off by saying that I a firm believer in a CREATOR GOD like many people, based on BLIND FAITH and believing without seeing because I cannot accept the patent nonsense of the theory of evolution… However, this belief is also based on and SUPPORTED by the solid foundation of the facts that I do so see… incontrovertible, undeniable and irrevocable facts, and it is NOT in any way related to any religious preconceptions.

    Examining these FACTS with an unbiased perspective and without any preconceptions, and using an expression borrowed from my thIrty ears as a lawyer, I state that;

" The preponderance of proof and the balance of probabilities makes it much more LOGICAL to conclude for the existence of a CREATOR GOD or an INTELLIGENT DESIGNER then to say that we are merely the result of random chance and evolution over a long period of time"…PATENT NONSENSE !

This is manifestly obvious from the magnificent complexity of our design of life. Anyone who looks at our design of life with its double binary coding system and incredibly complex DNA programs controlling every aspect of our design and a machine containing both the hardware and software and the manufacturing FACTORY to synthesize all the elements of our construction is brain dead and an irredeemable cynic and I do not even want to waste my time debating the issue of a CREATOR GOD with them.

Again speaking as a trial lawyer and using the standards we use to evaluate EVIDENCE, it is therefore impossible to dismiss or discredit these thousands of testimonies about NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES and the validity of what these people are reporting because it is consistent, credible and cross corroborated. People coming from different races, creeds and colors and religions AND all reporting the same facts and events about HEAVEN and about meeting JESUS and many times…with a reference from both JESUS and others to the " FATHER "…what I understand to mean, the CREATOR GOD himself.

    So, I have two questions;

First of all, can we finally and definitively conclude that JESUS and the CREATOR GOD are two separate entities, which is to me the most consistent and logical conclusion from all the EVIDENCE both from the reports of what he did and said during his life from the accounts of the apostles and from the cross corroborated reports of all these witnesses in their near death experiences ? Can we describe JESUS as a SON of the CREATOR GOD and a lieutenant appointed to represent GOD.

Secondly, I am most interested in finding out if it is possible to experience the type of revelations that these people report and to have encounter with our CREATOR GOD or JESUS without having to almost die so and thereby to get a DIVINE enlightenment as to what this life is all about and what is GOD'S plan for all of us. I have seen a few such accounts in the past but I would love to re-confirm them for myself and for all of us…so PLEASE REPORT YOUR EXPERIENCES

Can anybody out there tell us about having had an encounter with JESUS or the CREATOR GOD or explain if such a thing is possible while wide awake, fully conscious and in possession of one's faculties and WITHOUT having to go through a near death experience.

Such testimonials would greatly advance and strengthen the belief in a CREATOR GOD and go beyond the probative value of a near death experience, which is frightening and which will always lead to these skeptical and cynical comments and trivialization of these peoples' testimonials.

Please let us all know if ANY of you out there can report such live encounters…it would greatly advance the efforts to bring more people into the family of believers in a CREATOR GOD and in JESUS.

I can’t believe anything the church says because they could be lying to keep people believing and if this was true then why does everyone have different NDE’s? Some people experience NDE’s as nothing like their not conscious at all. That being said think the reason everyone experience’s them differently is because they’re not real and it’s just you’re brain making it up.
